@Captain_Gonru My store did too and, as an employee, I was kinda annoyed with the team that did it. Street dates are important and they messed that up. Nobody but me knew to put them out on Friday though so I had to remind someone to do it... sigh
I preordered my copy (physical) using store credit at a local game shop but I work at a Target in the US and we only had 3 copies available on Friday's release so I wouldn't be shocked if some stores like Target and Wal Mart sell out really fast.
Why not take the excellent How to Train Your Dragon franchise and mix it with the gameplay of something like the Panzer Dragoon games? It would print money. I know I'd buy it. I love the HtTYD movies unabashedly and really wish there was a game I could take home to play and enjoy... This is looks like a disappointment.. more licensed shovelware..yippee.
Because I don't have a capable PC, PS3/4 or any Xbox, I might try it out but that might only be like a rental. I don't think it has turned out to be as interesting and engaging as it could have been, based on what I've seen and read which is a real disappointment. Maybe the Wii U version will bring something interesting to the table but with a big "AAA" release like this I never really expect to see innovation.
