@Bass I agree with you in the sense that the gaming community seems to have put too much stock into amount of gameplay equaling the price of the game or its worth. Plus as you also stated games I really enjoy (which many Kirby games fall into that category) I will come back to and get multiple play throughs out of it. However, I feel that your first point is sort of moot. The price in the 90s of this game is irrelevant to whether it is worth the money being asked for it today.
I am definitely looking forward to this one. However, the price may determine how long I stew over whether I should buy it or not. Anybody seen anything on the retail price?
Seems like an odd choice by Capcom. I had only a little interest in this game to begin with but I don't like the potential precedence it would set for many of their games I am more interested in.
1) That things looks ridiculously bulky though I have heard reports saying it isn't that bad. 2) I'm afraid that thing is going to be insanely expensive. With all its functionality I'm not sure how it couldn't be.
Very interesting read. I enjoyed the alternate view very much.
And so come the incredibly long list of complaints people had about Twilight Princess. It was a good game I thought yet certainly had flaws that made it taxing at times.
Seems like a pretty low score for what little I see there in the way of criticism. Seems like the major criticism is didn't improve enough or at all. Actually just makes me more tempted to try it out.
As much as I love nintendo, this is their greed at its finest. Could have easily been offered at $8 via VC instead they slap it on a disc and jack up the price. Please don't bother mentioning the extras. They are a joke for the extra price.
I'm going to attempt to censor myself here. I am truthfully so sick of hearing about/discussing this. Was the overall story pretty rough....yeah probably. Certainly nothing really noteworthy. However, a lot of people want to go out and make these grandiose statements about how terrible this game is. All I have to say is get over it and yourself. Maybe I've just gotten old. All I know is the gameplay was pretty solid (for the most part) and for me at least enjoyable. I honestly couldn't give a damn about what was said in the story. The game was fun to play I can get over a forgettable story. I doubt many of you have cared about the "story" in the past metroids.
@grenworthshero I agree. I don't get the problem I've never had to use it on any of the games its featured on so even if I do lose a lot of lives I can just continue to plow through, but it can really be useful to those who need it or are feeling frustrated.
The game is a lot of fun, but the frame rate really can become an issue in spots. So beware if that is something that bugs you. Overall though it doesn't happen often and shouldn't be a detraction from the games numerous good qualities.
So let me preface this by clarifying that I am not a programmer and have no knowledge of that area. How does a game that seems to be as expansive as this fit in the wiiware limits imposed by Nintendo while a game like Super Meat Boy will not. I'm sure someone can enlighten me.
Wow that is pretty nice. They say Fox wasn't available, but I wonder if that is a polite way of saying not physically able? Parkinson's isn't exactly kind on verbal speech.
That is incredibly generous of all of you. I have to honestly say I have always been impressed with how this site has handled itself. I tip my hat to the staff.
Rare post-nintendo has been vastly disappointing. I'm not quite sure what happened, maybe others could fill me in but they are a shell of their former selves.

Two fears that I will need alleviated.

2) I'm afraid that thing is going to be insanely expensive. With all its functionality I'm not sure how it couldn't be.

@theblackdragon ...............if we want to get real technical I think the situation probably fits the definition for bemoan better than whine. ;=)

Congratulations to the winners. Use them wisely.
Re: Gothic Action Heads to WiiWare in Ark of Sinners
Sounds interesting. Just one question though? This says it will be a 2D adventure, but some of those screenshots sure like a 3D environment to me.

Great to hear. This has been an underutilized tool. I think this could really be beneficial to the online service.

Re: Super Meat Boy Will Miss November Launch Window
@Chicken
Good point. I think that pretty much settles how I will be attempting to play this. And it won't be on wiiware.
Re: Super Meat Boy Will Miss November Launch Window
This limit is getting quite irritating to tell the truth.
