Re: Soapbox: The Switch Has a Big Problem, and It's Too Many Great Games

@SLIGEACH_EIRE i dont post much on here, but read on a daily bases and have to admit you have a valid point (your original post). I love my nintendo and have done since my nes back in the 80's. Love my switch. Love the portability and am one of a few (i think) where its my only console (new gen). I like the ports as have no other means to play them, unless doom gets ported to the megadrive which i think is unlikely. However, if i were fortunate and owned other consoles, how many switch games (exclusives) would you class as timeless classics? I think the variety of releaeses so far is fantastic for those less fortunate to own multiple platforms like myself, however understand the frustrations for those that do.

I've always had a softspot for nintendo and to see it succeed (admittedly in the opening week) is always good to hear. A world without nintendo would certainly be a less interesting one. I have the ps3 under my telly, now along with my switch (nes and megadrive still set up in my other room), and do enjoy the choice of playing software from both systems to keep a little variety. Im yet to upgrade to ps4 as i see it as an upgrade, not a new innovation. This is where nintendo stands out. The feeling of opening something brand new and unknown, i dont get with other products. I love the new console and zelda is quickly becomming a top 2 game for me. People who say there's no AAA titles forget that nintendo titles are AAA and platforms such as ps, pc and xbox would give quite a lot to access this ip. Thank you nintendo, you have given me variety and entertainment for 35 years now, and long may it continue. Lets see if the next metroid can match these zelda reviews.
