@vyseofhr Being ignorant about your rights and privileges as a EU citizen comes with a cost. The simplest course of action is to vote with your wallet - just avoid the local businesses. At some point they will demand change or go out of business.
@KoopaTheGamer If you are serious about change, do something about it. Create petitions for Nintendo to break the monopoly, write directly to Nintendo en masse, boycott local stores, write to your local political representatives, complain to the EU (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/ALL/?uri=CELEX%3A12008E102).
Been here, done that ... Playstation went through the same thing years back - I had a UK account because in 2012 when I join PSN, my country had no digital storefront.
Today it is so bad that not even amazon.co.uk sells gift cards without a real UK card, so the only way to buy stuff on the UK PSN store is to literally have a friend in the UK who will buy gift cards for you. Of course, unless you want to gamble your money on dubious sites or ebay.
@sikthvash I loved Link's Awakening so most probably I will put Echoes of Wisdom in my backlog until Switch 2 is released (I might use a voucher for it, not 100% sure on it). I intentionally did not play Zelda TOTK because I felt the current Nintendo hardware is not up to the beauty of the game so I will play it on the new Switch as well.

Re: Nintendo Says "Nothing Bad" Will Happen If You Press Switch 2's C Button Without A NSO Sub
My only question is how to disable that button altogether.

There are ways. If only there is a will.
Re: Scandinavian Nintendo Fans Are Considering Flying Abroad For Cheaper Switch 2s
I really don't get it. Why they do not buy from Germany/France? At least Finland/Sweden are EU so no additional taxes when purchasing online.
Maybe some folks just want to complain ...
Re: Upgrade Pack Price For Zelda: BOTW And TOTK Has Been Confirmed
@Sakhasm Except those that were paid

So, expect worse to come.

I just hope the performance will be better than Link's Awakening
