@liljmoore When I was a kid, all we had to play with when we were out of the house was the Game Boy.
Compare the screen of a Game Boy playing anything compared to the Switch 2 and you'll be bowing down to the Nintendo Gods for making such a miraculous thing happen during my lifetime.
Lol, I will never complain about a screen again in my life. That's how good we have it today.
@tseliot Right? All the reviews for the Nintendo Direct crapped all over the games that were displayed.
Okay, yes, the Resident Evil trailer for the Switch 2 is lame. But of all the games that were showcased, I want to play 60% of them.
I don't think the Nintendo Direct was a failure at all.
The longer it takes for Nintendo to release the next Mario or Zelda, the better we know the game is going to be when it is finally released.
The games that are coming out this year, so far, are STELLAR. And I can easily see the Switch 2 keeping pace with the PS5 for sales and active play time. The quality is just so good these days. There's never a need for compromise anymore when it comes to quality of each game, and equality whether it's handheld or console.
I recently loaded up on 512 GB micro SD cards. I want to be ready for when AI snatches up even those.
I am in the process of playing the demo, but let me say first that the only reason I downloaded the demo was because the previews for this game all looked a lot like Death Stranding, and I love Death Stranding so I gave this one a try.
First, I LOVE the art style. The little girl is adorable and the gameplay is intuitive and fun.
As someone who's never played any of the Monster Hunter games, I feel like this game is very much Capcom.
As soon as it comes out, it's downloading straight to my Switch 2. This game is high quality art, and coming from Capcom, that is saying something.
How is this different from all the other console releases being waiting games because the console makers didn't foresee that people would want to buy it?
Everyone is acting as though this is a freak accident, but this happens every single time a gaming console is released, dating back to the PS2 (anyone remember how hard it was to find one of THOSE back in 2000?).
The PS2 outage made headlines.
So to those who managed to snag one, congrats to you. But console scalping and shortages have a long and trusted tradition in America. And this is nothing new.
