As good as DKC looked all those years ago, it was no match for Mario.
Tropical Freeze is great but still no match for Mario games.

I was actually very disappointed with Blue Storm. Maybe because of how much I loved WR 64...
I got a Gamecube on release and that was one of the games I got with it.
I seem to remember the reviews not being glowing and they weren't wrong imo.

Sonic games had none of the intricacies of Mario.

Compare SMW to any Sonic game...

Any game where you've not got control of the character (i.e Sonic) for any length of time, no matter how short, is not for me.

Sonic was never a rival to Mario.
Sonic was all speed and no finnesse.
I liked Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast but Mario games were/are always much more entertaining and brilliant.

Switch/Lite and OLED models will/are selling so well that they don't need a 4K model for quite a while.
The wiley old Nintendo foxes...
