I want to see more truly new stuff, not just the same old weapons with different subs and specials. Be more creative Nintendo! What I'd like to see is a class of weapon based off F.L.U.D.D that squirts out a stream of ink like a hose. But I suppose I'll settle for these for now... We haven't had any new stages for awhile either.
I am an inkbrush warrior. I've mained it since I got one ages ago. It is exellent at covering turf and at taking out foes at close range- if you can press the button fast enough. If you can't do that, you're wasting your time. To splat opponents, you must be sneaky, swim in the ink, when you see an enemy, hide in a place where you can jump up behind them and attack. Place sprinklers in strategic positions where they're hard to take out. They can even be bait, as an opponent is busy destroying the sprinkler, you can move in for the kill. But it's all about being able to swish REALLY fast.
The things I want to see added are a NSMB DS style, a beach background, (with water that runs along the bottom like castle lava, only you may toggle it up and down to make it deeper) a snowy background, (ice blocks feel really out of place without one) and of course, a desert background. I'd love some new enemies too, but I don't wanna ask for too much...
'accessible' is just another word for 'more boring'... Will the fact there's now 2 of everyone be novelty enough? And where's Kersti? She and Starlow would get on well...
So far paper jam seems to be the same story as any Mario game, only with double characters... I do hope they add enough uniqueness to keep it interesting...
I do hope those power-ups will be actually usable in the game eventually. The update is great, added more to do and solved some key issues, but not a lot that actually changes gameplay, like new backgrounds, enemies or... EHEM! A NSMB style...
@ViolaBouquet Challenge may not eaqual fun in all cases, because some are just so maddening and ridiculous you instantly think: "I'm never going to beat this, I quit." But it's the ones that employ decent challenge, or reward the player for their progress, or that gradually raises the difficulty so the player is ready for it. Players also enjoyed being challenged in new, interesting ways. I try to bring these aspects to my levels. Easy levels are usually boring.
@DG much obliged! I'll try out some of yours too when I get the time. The pit of 100 trials took me weeks to beat myself, I do warn you, it gets viciously intense in rooms 90 onwards...
@edgedino I tried your diabolical underwater level, I had fun, but it's one of those levels that can leave you furious... So I'll try beat it again another time...
You don't need a big room to incorporate challenge. My pit is full of 100 unique small rooms that get harder and harder. It's proved to be by far my most popular level yet.
Wha?! Some lame pit of 10 trials instead of my epic pit of 100 trials?! My pit of 100 trials is mega hard, over 1,800 attempts have been made and no one's beaten it! How do I get my levels noticed?! course id: 68EF-0000-00A4-6930

Re: Rumour: Nintendo UK Hints at More Mario Kart 8 DLC
A Splatoon pack.
And a Mario RPG pack.
I will then be satisfied.
Re: Get Ready to Add the Octobrush Nouveau to Your Splatoon Arsenal
My favourite weapon in Splatoon is definitely the regular inkbrush. It's quicker and less sluggish than the octobrush.

The more complex the better!

Re: Triple Power Coming to Super Mario Maker With Paper Mario Costume
We need an actual paper Mario amiibo in my opinion. It could be like Mr. game and watch: flat and interchangeable with different poses.
Re: Pre-ordering Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Will Net You a Papercraft Set in the UK
So far paper jam seems to be the same story as any Mario game, only with double characters... I do hope they add enough uniqueness to keep it interesting...
Re: Video: We Want Your Super Mario Maker Levels for Our New YouTube Series
But now my previous comment is out of date, now almost 3000 attempts have been made, and one other (other than me, that is) person has beaten it.

My pit of 100 trials level has nearly 1000 attempts, yet so far I'm still the only one to have beaten it.
