I backed this on a kickstarter back in 2013. I replied today to an email chain that started back then, and asked for the Switch version as my reward (I originally chose the “Wii U” version). Haha. I wonder if they’ll honour it.

@Syntaxkita The "tiers" proposal should help to alleviate your concern about it being dominated by the "top players" - I think it will be more fair and interesting than FX3's current Matchup mode, at least.

Thanks, Mitch! And thanks NL for putting on the tournament! Was great fun. The "fun fact" is a little misleading, as my 24 billion was in a different game mode (with powerups, rather than without). Having said that, Tech and I would be #1 and #2 in the world on this game mode, if these tournament scores counted in the leaderboards. We both set personal bests, which we probably wouldn't have done without the extra motivation of the competition.

Well done to all, what a great turnout.

Also, I think the "tiers" idea is a good one - looking forward to the next NL tournament!

Thanks pAq, I'm not sure but I'd guess my 5.8 billion took about 4-5 hours of playtime. I always take breaks every 30-60 minutes. I played a lot of Sorcerer's Lair on FX2 (Wii U) so I'm very familiar with the table.

Thanks Tech - that's how all pinball matches end! Haha. Well done on your monster score as well, virtually a tie for 1st place. Like you said, it's a shame those scores don't count for the leaderboards or that would be another 1-2 for us.

Keen. Just hope the ball doesn't get stuck like it did on Wii U ZP2. Happy to give it another chance.
