Super excited for the release of Progear!. I am unaware if this game was ever released before on any console... The side-scrolling CAVE shmup collection can now be completed. Hm... I do not own a Switch yet.

Yes I will; it is fantastic. Glad to see the update finally dropping. The beta for it was a blast.

It would be important for people to consider how dedicated this developer is to its games. As we speak the developer has been in constant conversation with the players taking recommendations and rolling out patches almost daily since launch on Steam.
This says A LOT about the kind of interest and direction the creators have in mind for this gem.

Day one, because of fan request, they added a TON of options to improve controls and game balance. Today, the game is superior than it was at launch some days ago (can you imagine?).

I do not know how fast the patches are dropping on Switch (i only have the Steam version) but as of now, the controls have almost neared perfection, and the systems and mechanics will only improve from now on.

I am truly impressed with this game and the developers behind it.
Very recommended. It is definitely Gungeon, a different kind of gungeon and that is a wonderful thing.

The song? It is quite suitable for the purpose of the clips: cheerful, festive, getting the joyful feeling perfectly across.

The clips themselves are really well done. Besides the fact that Nintendo is promoting Nintendo ('s newest wonder), the company is also saying: hey, games are cool and all but they sure as hell do not replace traveling, getting together, playing sports, visiting family, enjoying meals, or having foreigner friends. Healthy relationships can benefit from quality gaming.

The closing is fantastic, いつでも，どこでも，だれとでも. anytime, anywhere, with everyone.

Cheesy? I do not think so. I find "Hey there lovely people, it's Alex from NintendoLife here" quite more so...

ZXCollection + ZX3, please? and cross over it with Gunvolt2 if you please. Coppen would be fun!

@nab1 Well no, Panic Bomber is quite good as well. If you are into shooters Red Alarm is super interesting, and vertical force gets the job done as well. There is even a way to play Bound High which was not actually released. There is a healthy hombrew indie scene for the console for many years now. PlanetVB.com will certianly appeal to you if you wanna get more outta that FREAKING BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF NINTENDO.

@Shiryu by the way, what are your impressions on Star Fox ZeroG(uard)? In my opinion, it turned out brilliant. The way you now interact with the story and the action account for nothing less than genious craftsmanship.

@Shiryu I also liked Culture Brain's games a lot. I have great memories of this game in particular as well.

Anyway, what I really want is Climax, Expansion Kit Disk and GX as Virtual Console releases for Wii U/3DS.

@aniki7 @raghav Just clarifying. In the end I was not scammed. It happens that after I sent an email with the code to raghav, he did not check his email until TODAY (12 hours or so after I had sent the email with the code for Wario Land 2). Because I got no reply for him, late at night yesterday I went ahead and entered the Wario Land 2 code on my own 3ds to verify if the code had/hadn't been used. It turns out it was unused. And so I ended up claiming the VC title for myself.

Again, he did not scam me, I apologize for having made it sound like he did... even when at the time it did look like it.

For the rest of you guys still looking for a code. DO HEAD OVER TO TWITTER, search DEMO CODE and filter the latest messages, you are sure to find unused codes there. two of my friends did get theirs there.

@Slapshot I guess If i were to sell my console and did not want the games anymore, that would be ok. But if i am planning to sell the console and I still want the games. I would have to plan ahead to make sure I have a recipent console to send them to.... nuances.

@Slapshot Not to make a long conversation out of this but the games are actually tied to your nintendo eshop account (which is associated with one console at the time) If for any reason you loose your console or break it, as long as you know your serial number (for the broken unit and the replacement one) you can ask nintendo Service to "transfer" your eshop account to the new console.

I do not know what will happen in 15 years... Nintendo will have it figured by then.
