The emails come from Facebook so it's not technically a Nintendo announcement, hence the rumour tag. We'll be sure to remove it when we get some clarification.

@jboy1807 We considered this to be news as Soul Calibur II was a popular title on the Nintendo GameCube.

@GiftedGimp Thanks for the feedback however in this case the headline is not misleading in any way. There is much confusion about what next-gen and current-gen actually is. For example, is 'current-gen' Wii U/PS4/XBO as Wii U is out right now? If not, saying current-gen would mean PS3/X360 and would include the Wii as well, correct? This game is not coming to Wii therefore the headline says exactly what it says: Soul Calibur II HD Online has not been announced for Wii U.

To clarify, this is sadly not coming to Wii U.

Sven was definitely one of the best in terms of community engagement. It feels like Capcom has taken the phone off the hook with this move...

I remember being monumentally disappointed with this game... The pacing and the on-foot missions were the worst parts for me. Those co-op missions are brilliant, though!

This was the first title I played on the GameCube and it blew me away! The visuals still look fantastic today!

Just for the record, I was merely quoting Eiji Aonuma with the whole 3D games up till now have all run at 30FPS thing... I think Mario Kart 7 was 60FPS and possibly others too

@Damo Yep! I'm not really sure why Kyudo is only a left handed technique to be honest... All I know is it can leave nasty scarring on your face as you draw the bow-string past your ear...

Archery on NL!! I'm pretty sure the bow is held in the left hand in Kyudo though...
