@CEObrainz I started a new BotW save over the weekend. The promise of increased render distance has my interest piqued. Time to dig into some Cemu tuts. Thanks!
@invictus4000 Yup. Gyro support on Switch is so inconsistent--huge dead zones, weird option locks, terrible sensitivity--I ended up building a new gaming PC so I can play shooters with the Pro Controller through Steam Input. Still a huge pain getting it to work there, but at least it's possible in most cases.
@Liam, as a die-hard gyro aimer, it's a bit offensive to be referred to as an "assist." Aim assist is for when the player, controls, or both are terrible and the game has to aim for you. If anything, gyro aiming is giving back more control to the player with less assistance from the game engine.
@ALinkttPresent There's very little consistency between any two review scores anywhere, which is why many game reviews have done away with ratings entirely and opt for a simple "Recommended" stamp and maybe a pros/cons list.
@MasterJay I love my Split Pad Pro. I've never played Daemon X Machina. The only branding is the label on the X button unless you count the color scheme.
@LillianC14 No, the PowerA "Enhanced Wireless Controller" includes motion controls. And mappable buttons. The only difference I see with this new one is a rechargeable battery.
For anyone who doesn't own any of the previous games, I did the math for you. Urban Flow is on sale for $11.24, but if you pay 49ยข for Flow Lines Vs, you save $2.25 and bring it down to $8.99
@Hordak I don't understand. You already own a Switch, but you want to spend more money on an identical product but with fewer features? At least the Lite added better portability and comfort.
I buy physical when I can. There are the obvious reasons: collecting, resale, posterity, but everyone seems to be overlooking the biggest one to me: Sharing.
My household has 3 Switches. Someone else can play my copy of a digital game on their Switch, but only on my profile, and it completely locks out my entire digital library! Physical carts serve as a license key. Whoever has the cart installed gets to play, with no detriment to anyone.
@Blizzia Jesus, you have 70 hours in Dead Cells already?? Regarding the stutter issue, I get it wa-a-a-ay more often, probably every 10-20 minutes, and sometimes in combat. But it's not stopping me from absolutely loving this game with all my heart.
The problem is that you can't review a game from someone else's perspective. To me, the NintendoLife review "Conclusion" snippets are absolutely perfect.
@Preposterous I'm guilty. I pre-ordered Skyrim the day it was announced. I was in love with the Switch and I was terrified they would drop AAA titles and brand it a kiddie console like they've been doing since the Gamecube. I wanted to show publishers that we would actually buy these games. All that and I've barely played it. I should get back to it.

Re: 8BitDo Reveals Its New "Pro 2" Bluetooth Controller, Compatible With Switch
@Tim_Vreeland That sounds about on par with every warranty claim I've ever attempted.
Re: Hands On: We've Played Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, And Here's What We Think So Far
"you also have the option to play local wireless multiplayer with multiple Switches"
I'm assuming everyone also has to have their own copy of the game? Sounds like a blast for my house, but not worth $240 to pull it off.

Oh, cool, so... the same prices these games are always on sale for.
Re: This Officially-Licensed Switch Controller Comes With Motion Controls And Mappable Buttons
@Luna-Harmony I'm sure that works, but you're paying more than a Pro Controller and missing out on motion controls, NFC, and HD rumble.

Wow, that's a lot of trouble when he could have just bought a Hori Split Pad, turned on turbo A, and walked away like I do.

Re: Dead Cells On Switch Is Outselling The PlayStation 4 Version
@blizzia I'm playing off a physical cart. But I'll try swapping the download data to internal memory and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion!
