@Kr96 that makes sense! I was just curious your thoughts on it because it seems like half the time now Amazon and GameStop will just throw up placeholders on their sites now to generate interest even if a games been vaguely announced. I know this is different in the sense that it’s a definite release date on other platforms now

@Kr96 in pre-ordering a physical release, is an actual physical release cartridge guaranteed? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but there have been games that were "physical releases" that were really just a physical case and then a code for the game. Games that are pre ordered months in advance have been canceled entirely before, so what's to stop something from ultimately becoming a cloud version if they run into roadblocks with development

I still haven't really used this app, but the fact that nintendo is at least spending time updating it gives me hope that at least they're aware their apps need work

@nessisonett agreed. Idk if I can go back to just battling at this point. I’m afraid it’ll bring a lot grinding back into the game

You’d think someone would want to port some sports games over to the switch just because a halfway decent one would corner the market

@Mauzuri the fact that the article states “ Enjoy Three First Iconic Raiders… Cell, Buu, and Frieza!” Makes me think if the game is well received DLC with more raiders will come

I could say it's slightly disappointing, but from a business and logistics perspective it makes a lot of sense.

Also I think the people who would buy both versions of the game aren't necessarily invested in whether they have the same ROM or not, they just want to have a copy of both versions for collecting

@nessisonett That's the first thing I thought when I saw this. Especially the screenshots of the environment outside the actual matches, it looks like a clone of the Mario Tennis RPG. Considering I've been waiting 20+ years for another Mario Tennis RPG I'm not disappointed

The only time I've gotten consistent hits for the street pass outside the original release of the 3DS years back was during PAX East. I'd walk away with 50+ passes every year. But who knows the likelihood of that moving forward.
