In Finland we still have two major gaming magazines, the other one been around from 1992 and the other from 2002. I still get the rush of excitement when I come home from work and fresh gaming magazine is just laying on the floor and waiting for me to get a cup of coffee and relax for a while with printed word. I do read most of my news online, but there is something to be had in lenghty articles and sitting in peace and quiet for a while. I also like the collector aspect of it.
As a fan of point-and-clicks this really grabbed my attention, even though pointing and clicking is a bit wonky with any console there is. I still love the style of it, probably gonna get it eventually.
@the_beaver oh right, I totally forgot they were on Switch too! I've played the first one on PC already, but I could consider getting to the second one as well.
I never 100% my games, if by that you mean collecting absolutely everything, experiencing all the possible endings and doing every small and big quest there is for the game. Playing game through is playing the mainplot and those extras I feel interested in, but trophies and completionism is not my cake. I do feel bad that my gamelog is so huge tho - I should invent a rule to make myself to play at least 5 games I already got for every new game I buy... Good sales are hard to pass so I force myself not to check gamestores at all. And yes, excellent point on how we do not have this mindset anywhere else in our life: closest I can think of is the trope of some people being like "I have nothing to wear" with closet full of new clothes that have never been worn.

Re: Review: Yomawari: The Long Night Collection - Fear And Frustration In Equal Measure
Tried it on Steam, was not my cup of tea: frustration made all the ambiance and horror disappear. The style of the game is nice tho.
Re: Violent And Bloody Action RPG Vampyr Is Making The Switch
I'm so glad I waited on this and didn't buy it on pc! This has interested me from when it was first announced to come out
Re: Review: Pinstripe - A Short But Surprisingly Scary Trip That's Sure To Leave Its Mark
The game is so good, I would get it if I didn't own it already for pc. Play it, people!

Re: Live The Life Of A Cat In Cattails, A Simulation RPG Pouncing Onto A Switch Near You
Seems cute, if the price is right it probably ends up in my collections.

YES, more actually good horrorgames for the Switch - the need is great, the only one I recall is Layers of Fear, and I already owned that for PC.
@alasdair91 well, the footage is from the 2008, of course it looks like it as well.
