Aww freak, I didn't even know Citizens of Space existed, Citizens of Earth was one of my favorite eShop games on the 3DS and I missed the deal. Oh well, I put it on my wish list and will wait for another deal, no rush.
I was doing that when playing the game, my sister and friends were teasing me since I was spending a good amount of time trying to take amazing pictures in the game.
@Radbot42 Because none of them are echo characters, they all started off as semi-clones and each game has made them more distinct from their OG counterpart, well except Young Link since Link went through a major change, Toon Link was already significantly different, same with Lucas. Echo characters are basically exactly the same in nearly every sense except for some very slight differences (some bigger than others like Ken/Ryu) but I believe their speed and weight are even the same. All of the semi-clones, except for Lucas I guess, have noticeably different weight and speed.
@Kalmaro Look up the gameplay footage, Keita can freely run around the battle field and attack and command his Yokai, which also can act independently. I'm not sure yet if you can directly control them like you could the familiars in Ni No Kuni but even if you can't, that's a massive improvement over the 3DS entries.
@Kalmaro it wasn't bad, I actually got really into the first one, clocking in around 80 hours but the game made it difficult for you to want to use different Yokai due to the how long it took to build up relationships.
All I care about right now from them is Yokai Watch 4 since it's using a combat system similar to Ni No Kuni.
@retro_player_22 If you own majority stakes, you pretty much own the company, (it's why Nintendo couldn't prevent Rare being sold to Microsoft because they only owned 49%), and of course Bandai-Namco owning 16% means they can work with them too but obviously those games will be Nintendo exclusives.
@retro_player_22 If you buy them, you own them so what the heck are you talking about? That "dream team" you brought up consists of almost no developers that Nintendo "bought up" so looks like Platinum is already part of the "dream team."
@retro_player_22 Most of those devs Nintendo doesn't own, they're simply partners, only Monolithsoft, 1-Up, Retro, NDcube, and iQue are 1st party devs (along with the in-house teams). Buying entire developers is a massive investment for the most part, it's been working in Nintendo's favor simply to partner up with developers rather than buying them out.
I kind of dig this, of course if Nintendo were to apply this (more powerful hardware required), it would be more vibrant and stylized but just as a display of "possibility", I think this looks really good, definitely better than those UE4 ultrarealistic Zelda builds.
@Wavey84 I have rubber grips on my JoyCons which make all the difference (much prefer that over a grip that goes over the entire console since it's much smaller, and doesn't have to be removed).
I'm a music person but I'm not a "sound" person if that makes sense, I think it has to also to do with how easily I can get immersed into a game where I don't need a great sound system or whatever, I mean I was fully immersed in games like Zero Escape, Danganronpa and Ace Attorney and I played those on the 3DS and Vita (without headphones).
I personally am amazed at the lengths people will go through just go get immersed into the games they're playing, I must also add that I'm always doing things that would easily break immersion like having a video on my computer playing (I'm super into politics so it's usually a political news video and if not, Game Grumps LOL) so it would be silly for me to invest in an elaborate sound setup when I'm constantly doing things that split my attention.
I do prefer playing games on a TV but yeah, the handheld option is incredibly convenient, especially for lengthy single player games (currently playing Tales of Vesperia).
@Wavey84 Yeah, I don't really care if the visuals take a hit but framerate is a major thing and in handheld mode, it's not as easy or comfortable playing high paced, intense action games like these. I'll most definitely be playing Bayonetta 3 primarily in docked mode.
I hope that the Wii U will be included in their future plans. The Tales series is my favorite series overall and I would always buy it day one if it were to be on the Wii U.
Graphics are phenomenal, therefore the system will obviously do well (where have we heard this before?). LOL, huge RAM will make innovation easier? BS!!!!!! When the 360's RAM was considered huge, what was all that innovation? I still call bull crap when people have the gall to say that all developers need is more power to be creative and innovative when this generation has shown quite possibly the least amount of innovation and creativity overall with gaming, and they had much more power to play with compared to previous generations.
Don't be hating because you can't come up with something creative like Nintendo. Seriously, anyone who wants Nintendo to become a 3rd party is just asking to kill off majority of their franchises.
I've been focusing on my Wii U but this is one game I would definitely pick up day one if it were to come to the US, looks like a ton of fun and a game I could easily sink dozens of hours into. Please bring it over!
I can only really go by what I've played so here goes:
Wii U - New Super Mario Bros. U (honorable mention Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed) Wii U eShop - Trine 2: Director's Cut (honorable mention Nano Assault Neo) 3DS - Kid Icarus: Uprising (although I'm sure if I played Virtue's Last Reward that would get my vote) 3DS eShop - CrashMo (lots to choose from) DS - Pokemon Conquest (over 150 hours clocked in before I stopped playing and I was no where near finished X_X) Wii - Xenoblade (no contest even though The Last Story was also awesome)
Dammit! And I just bought a cover for my GamePad, hmm, this is something I'll definitely want to get in the future (maybe next month). I want a matte one, the one shown here looks the best out of the ones I've seen so far.
He's full of crap because TreyArch Studios already stated that the GamePad could very well advance the Call of Duty series, so why would the studio that makes Call of Duty: Black Ops try to force Nintendo to create the Pro controller?
@Gridatttack Considering the massive scope of the game and that around at least half of the characters have seen international release, it's very likely we'll be getting this game.
I have it on the 360 but decided to try the demo from eShop and glad that I had the 360 version. From the demo, although the visuals are indeed worse (not too concerned about that), the framerate was worse and considering the nature of this game, that's a deal breaker.
Can't wait for Rayman Legends though! Haven't even finished Rayman Origins yet XD

Playing Bayonetta on the Switch, these are games I don't really like playing in handheld mode so I'll just get this game on the PS4.
