I remember that you can replay levels (as long as your in the same world of the level) but if you can't you'll most likely play the level again because I bet everything I own you'll restart the game some time in your life.
In the Water temple you don't make it go higher, once it's full you use your boots and find a thing that will make the water go lower. Any true Zelda fan would no that. Nah just kidding I sound like such a nerd. ( But my advice is correct. )
Even though this game has more levels ( even levels u don't have to beat ) I think yoshis island is the best. Yoshis island would actually have harder levels because it's very hard to get 100%. But super Mario world has harder castles and more of a story. So I don't no witch one is better.
Wow I still haven't beaten this game. I'm stuck on the world after the snow place on the first level. I can never get past the fire pots. The reason I haven't played this is because I've been playing super paper Mario and twilight princess. Otherwise I probably would have beaten this game. (Sadly I still don't have a classic controller. )
I've never played metroid games, but this one looks good. I'm so happy that the virtual console came out because now I can play all of the great games that started it all. And most games I've never played (I've only played a few n64 and a few snes games in my life ) so I might just start the Metroid series with this game. Also AMAZING graphics for the snes.

Wow I'm in the 3rd temple in the dark world and I can't beat the boss. It's almost impossible when all of those spikes keep shooting at you and the dragon thing is trying to hit you.
I just downloaded this game last night I love it. But you can't save so if you get a game over you have to start all over again. But I guess that's what makes the game a challenge. Does anyone know how to get more lives?
Mr 64, that was a beautiful explanation of the game. And I couldn't agree with you more this game is so much better than the game boy version. ( even though I've never played that one before ) I've never beat this game yet ( this is the first time i've played it ) I stopped because I wanted to play DK country, but those words you just wrote inspired me to beat this game and see what happens at the end.
OH sweet I don't wanna sound annoying or anything but can you chose witch yoshi you want, or is it like yoshis island where you get a different yoshi for every level?

Yeah I'm going with everyone here this is a great game easily a 4 star ( nes ) game. But I also have this game on Animal Crossing, so I'm not downloading it. But If I didn't have it on Animal Crossing I would still not get it, 500 points is too much for this game.

( Well I guess its not that long smb3 people have been writing for since February!) So I guess its gonna be a long time then huh. And I forgot can you be different colored Yoshi's in this game?
Same here Mr 64, this was my favorite game ever. ( for nes ) And what I love about the Super Mario Bros. games are the the games are so much different from each other. ( not like the games now ) Super Mario Bros. started it all, with the jumping and the levels. Super Mario Bros.2 was great changed completely, you get to pick different characters and the levels aren't like you just keep going, you have to find secrets and stuff. ( and I think this one has a story not like #1 ) And now Super Mario Bros.3 Once again very different more secrets, harder levels, the new ability to turn into a raccoon and fly ( and I think you also can be a frog ) I think you can be luigi, you can go back to levels use items and more. So you can see why I think this would be the best game on the vc. ( and I'm sorry to all of you people who never played this game for telling you everything about it )
Oh ya I really need to know this can you save in this game?
I love this game. I remember as a little kid playing this game on all stars I loved it been able to chose different characters with different abilities, ( I think this is the first game where you can do that ) and the bosses are cool ( Birdo the egg throwing guy) and they get harder. The place I remember the most is the level with the flying carpet and being Peach.

Yeah I agree Mendez I love the sequels. My favorite one was the 3rd one. I loved it being Dixie Kong and the baby kong. Can't wait for the next games.

Ok well just like a lot of other nes games, I would never download this game for two reasons.
1. Two player is the best and I would never have anyone to play with
2. A lot of my game boy games have this game built into it.
Otherwise it's a pretty good game.
