Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Confirms Playable Cranky Kong and Release Date for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Yodelman64

They did mess up with the presentation. But people should not have gotten their expectations up so high. This was the time to announce a new game, and not reveal info about a game already coming out. But people should not have gotten their expectations up because they said they would release information about an already existing game, not show a brand new game. SO people should not have gotten their expectaions ups so high

Re: Talking Point: The GamePad and its Role Defining the Wii U

The gamepad is amazing. It has a ton of potential. The only problem is that it has not been used to that potential. The only game to fully utilize the gamepad was zombiu which did a great job. I can think of so many more ideas that use the gamepad fully. That is why I bought the system, because of the gamepad.

Re: Reggie Has Seen The Xbox One And PS4 Launch Lineups, And He Says "Meh"

Yodelman64

THe ps4 and the xbone do have a pretty big launch line up. THe problem is that they are basically the same old games from last generation, just a little bit more prettier.I'm really looking at these games and I see nothing different from last generation. But with the wii u's line up almost every single title i see it with tons of innovation. Types of games that weren't that abundant on the other consoles.

Re: Nintendo Defends Influx of New Mario Titles

Yodelman64

The one thing I love about nintendo games is that all of their sequels are actaully sequels. They try to add new experiences to all of their sequesl adn make them feel like you are playing a different game insead of just a sequel. I don't think that nintendo needs to produce a new IP becasue each fo ther sequels is basically a new IP

Re: Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta Explains the Benefits of Developers Running the Company

Yodelman64

I think that game companies ahve become way to much buisness oriented. they have almost made making games a mathematic formula. Hwere they will just plug things in. Like all the open world ganes now a days. I feel like they just go and say, okay so we need to make the game world bigger, add a couple of weapons, have ti look a little better, and there we go, we ahve an open world game.

Re: Waiting For Wii U To Drop In Price? Not Going To Happen, Says Nintendo

Yodelman64

Of course nintendo won't announce it right now. Half the reason for a price cut is all the buzz and advertising that will happen. If nintendo announced it now thawt they were going to do a price cut in october then that would ruin all of the buzz adn advertisign that they will get. But if they announce it the day they do it right before the other consoles launc ti will take a big chunk away from all the news goign on about them and turn it directly toward the wii u. So ti woul dbe very stupid if nintendo announced teh price cut right now, and ti would defeat the whole entire purpose.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts May Not Appear On Wii U After All

Yodelman64

I think that they are not workign on the wii u versio right now but they definetly ahve not totally crossed out that oppurtunity. If they were not goign to give the wii u ghosts then they would have just said it, it would have had aabsolutly no inpact on theri sales. i think that they are looking to see how popular the wii u gets this summer and fall adn then they will decide if they will release on teh wii u. That is the only circumsatnce where it would be harmful for there sales if they announced that they were not, because later they would change ti and people would still be bitter. So it defintly is not a no, but ti isn't a yes either. Just a maybe

Re: Features: The Joys of Following Nintendo at E3

Yodelman64

I am just a little bit disappointed by this line up. BUt now that I think abou ti we can't really blame nintendo. THye have to do this kind of line up to attract people to their consoles. i think that nintendo would want to do a star fox game or a new IP or something, but for this year they have to play it safe or else the wii u would go donw under. But with this kind of line up the wii u will be able to attract more attention and sell more units than if nintendo had announced star fox or something. This makers me even more excited for e3 next year because then nintendo won't have to play it safe anymore, and they can give us teh games taht they want to make and we want to play.

Re: Talking Point: The Wii U's Next-Gen Challenge Starts to Take Shape

Yodelman64

I think that nintendo should Still advertise the wiiu as the ultimate living room experience. I don't think by just having good games will cut it this generation. COnsoles have become more than game machines, they have become whole entire experiences and if nintendo markets it as the ultimate family living room experience it think they will start doing alot better.
