@RadioShadow Agree about ducktails. Tiny toons (which barely made the top 50) is a much better game. Happy for Gargoyle's Quest. Surprised to see Mario Land 2 so high. In my opinion it was worse than the original. My personal top 5 (in no particular order) would be Zelda, Tetris, Pokemon, Metroid 2 and Gargoyle's Quest
There are many great games on the SNES. There is however one timeless masterpiece. Chrono Trigger. This, alongside Pokemon Gold/Silver are the only games from that era that still make it into my top 5 games of all time.
I started off with "Thriller House" a Game and Watch style game, and then got "Octopus" a Nintendo G&W. My first grey brick GameBoy carried me until GBA which I got at launch (and couldn't pay the rent because I had spent the money on the GBA). I resisted DS's charms as long as I could (being able to borrow a friend's for long periods helped) but got a Fire Emblem 3ds xl when it came out. I have always felt what the article describes, that connection and affection for the portable consoles.
Got it new from Amazon a couple of months ago. Could not find it at Game. And, yeah, graphics are very pretty and the Master Quest perfect (feels like a new game, as long as someone else completes the standard adventure) for someone who played the N64 version all those years ago.
Am I the only one who likes Jynx? I guess it had something to do with creating a fairly decent one with Perish Song, way back on the original Silver, but still I think it's a funny, likeable pokemon. Also Tropius and Exeggutor look great of course. The only one I could agree with is the #2.
Wonder Boy is one of the first games I ever played on the tender age of 7 (or 8). I even managed to finish it on the Amstrad 6128 (the sesion must have taken 4-5 hours... was there a pause button?). Never played Wonder Boy 3 though.
A truly unique excellent game. Anyone who hasn't played it and gets the chance should try it out, because its impossible to describe its charms in text.
Probably my favourite 4 player game ever. (sorry Mario Kart and Smash Bros, though Snowboard Kids 64 is a close second). The fact that there is no need for split screen helps, but also a really skill based game. Not as fun single player, 2 player still decent.
Robin Williams was my favourite actor by far when I was growing up. (I had even seen Popeye, one of his least well known films). No film has made me cry like Dead Poets Society's ending. I hope he has found peace.
My first ever console (I think I had an Amstrad Cpc 6128 before that). Snapped one up as soon as they became available in Greece. I love my GameBoy so much. Favourite games include the awesome Gargoyle's Quest, Link's Awakening and Metroid 2.
I read in a forum (sorry can't remember where exactly) that if you accidentally crash the game like this you can remove the sd card, reboot the game and save somewhere else. The OP there even thanked for the advice and said it worked

Re: The Legend of Zelda for Wii U No Longer Set for 2015 Release
I'm actually relieved. This game needs to be this generation's Ocarina.
Re: Nintendo Working On New 'Dedicated Game Platform' Codenamed 'NX'
The real question is whether the new console is just a handheld that also plays on tv, or a set top box that uses the handheld as a controller.
That's because its launching price is the most important factor to determine how the public sees this. As a successor to the 3ds or the wiiU?

I like the DK one
Re: Nintendo 64x64: Snowboard Kids
University, 5 flatmates, 4 controlers and Snowboard Kids. We liked this game better than Mario Kart. Amazing power ups

Amazing game. One of my all-time favourites.

I can only assume so. I did some searching and while I couldn't find that forum again I found this: http://www.videogamesuncovered.com/news/how-to-fix-the-freezing-glitch-in-pokemon-x-and-y.html#.UmGUQfmL3cB
