Sony guy is right. the ds had innovative games you couldnt do on other platforms. It was fun and new. 3ds had that friend pass thing that was really fun. The reality is that you used to get different alternate games on nintendo systems, the uniqeuess and daring attitude has taken a hit. Iwata was awesome looking back, trying to innovate.
I think this may be another 3ds situation where nintendo got too cocky. Plenty can afford the switch 2, but they forgot there market is still family orientated. In aus mario kart is 120, and thats a tough ask. People arent gonna buy more of these when they have less money. They will have to drop the price at some point.
Just letting people know it is essentially an xbox360 rom and is laggier then that version, not sure why this reviewer said it fixed things. Most wont notice but at high difficulty it is a big deal.
This is pretty terrible reviewing to just leave out everything being on the physical vwrsion and the diffetent pricing involved. Emulation competence also matters to some, pacman collection framerate lag rendered most games barely playable, so ill take a decent poet anyday for a more expensive price then a bad port port for cheap
At the end of the physical will still be cheaper then a download anyway and tradeable, so will get secondhand at some point, but coild probably have fit moat roms on a small cart anyway. How the file sizes are this huge though boggles my mind
At least they mentioned the lag lol. I think if they could actually tell us how much lag we could decide if it was a dealreaker ourselves. Pacman collection was barely playable because of the lag and i would have avoided it had it been mentioned. If you want to play a shooter properly its important info. Still im glad that they included something in the review, at least shows thst the issue is at least being considered now.
@Serpenterror Im talking about input lag actually, though the online is a whole other problem. An emulator shouldnt do a better job then a console port at this point. Rather get the frames down then read extra stuff
Honestly, theres plenty to play anyway, my backlog is ridiculous. If they csnt be bothered to release a couple of ps2 titles so be it, ill put my money somewhere else. Cloud gaming should be cheaper or just not exist, maybe a hire fee to use for a week or so but otherwise forget aboit it.

All of the choices should really be there considering the impact they had to be honest.
