I really want Resident Evil to return to its survival horror roots. At some point around 4 and 5 the gameplay got usurped by the FPS craze. As a result, Resident Evil 5 plays more like a military sim and the zombies are not really that scary anymore. I really hope this game is better - I played the demo and its pretty cool, but the zombies look more like aliens.
I personally have never played this one - the first game I played with Wario as the lead character was Warioland II, and I love it. So I would definitely check this out, but I wish it weren't grayscale.
I think this is . Obscure or not, Game Gear games are a welcome addition to the 3DSVC. Who ever thought they would play game gear games on a nintendo system? Not me. I had both back in the day (started with original gameboy, then when game gear was getting phased out and got heavily discounted I picked it up - awesome for the price I paid).
I agree with the rating and the comments on the bottom screen, letterboxing, and lack of potential improvements.
However, I think the 3D effects are GREAT. The pictures (and preview) don't do it justice. There are some backgrounds that really work for 3d, like a waterfall that is flowing towards the screen, multilayered clouds, forest with lots of stuff in the foreground and background. This game is great in 3d....if they could have changed anything I wish they had just made the colors a little more vibrant, it looks a little washed out.
Just bought this a week or two ago and I'm obsessed. I play this every day. I have Mario Kart 7 but I have only played it once because I'm too busy playing pushmo. And Mario vs Donkey Kong. Addictive puzzle games rawk!
This is a game I probably would never have considered trying until reading this review (mostly because the name screams bargain bin). Thankfully, that is why I read reviews on this website - yet another awesome game I might have missed. Thanks nintendolife!

I am really excited about this one. Kinda reminds me of a japanese samurai cartoon version of Infinity Blade. This seems like its pretty deep and may actually consume some of my time. I like puzzle games like Donkey Kong vs Mario and Pushmo, but if they keep producing neat little gems like this game I have a feeling I am going to give nintendo all my money
I could care less about the Mario Kart 7 glitch, that just means you played it long enough to find the loop hole. I would care in an FPS if someone uses a code to make themselves invincible though, thats BS. Back in the day my friends and I would compete over who could find the most cheat codes for Mortal Kombat III - we felt like gods when we could pull off one button fatalities
The best Zelda ever will always be A Link to the Past because it is timeless thanks to the awesomeness of sprites. I tried Oot on the collectors disc, but couldn't get into it and honestly the graphics had not aged well. However, I'm currently playing the 3DS version right now and thoroughly enjoying myself this time around. The graphics upgrade didn't hurt. IMO though MM trumps Oot all the way - its just a more polished game. I love the time limit....although I feel stupid because when I played it on my gamecube I didn't realize you could play the ocarina to restart the three days......For the record Twilight Princess was a low point in the series, not Wind Waker. But neither deserve the most hated award - not even Zelda II. The gold, silver, and bronze for most reviled Zelda games go to the Phillips CD-i games that weren't even developed by the zelda team: Link the Faces of Evil, Zelda The Wand of Gamelon, and Zelda's Adventure.
I hope nintendo has taken note of the advantages of selling hardware at a lower price point in order to establish an audience and capitalize on software sales. Hopefully they are going to use a similar strategy for the Wii U now that they see it does work. Wii U needs to launch for $350 or less or noone will buy it, just like when the 3DS was overpriced at launch.
It may be blasphemy, but I chose Xenoblade Chronicles over Skyward Sword for the Wii. Why? Because we are going to get Zelda games in the U.S. no matter what. However, Xenoblade Chronicles was a win for the hardcore Nintendo gamer that never gave up on the Wii despite the many temptations to jump ship. Xenoblade deserves to win so that Nintendo will see how much we wanted this game.
This was a banner year for me. I bought the Zelda 3DS bundle ($179.99) on Black Friday along with Super Mario 3D Land, Starfox 64, Sonic Generations, and Street Fighter IV. But wait, there's more....
For the Wii, I got Rayman Origins (for $35 on Black Friday) , Kirby's Return to Dreamland, and Skyward Sword with the gold controller. Then, during Gamestop's 3 for 2 sale I bought Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Rock Band 1 and 2 ($6 each), Wii Fit w/ balance board ($50), and I have been playing Skyrim on my Mac (figure that out). I have so much to play, its a full time job!

Re: Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
I adored this game. I spent more time playing this game then practically anything else on the game boy except Tertris.

Re: Dr. Mario
This is a pointless release. If any game benefits from a little color, its this one as the colors make it easier to distinguish the pills

Re: Unsheath Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword on 2nd February
This looks like a pretty well developed game considering it is for 3DSware, and thats a very good thing.
Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising Trailer Shoots Past
I like everything but the cheesy kiddy voice acting. Might have to turn the volume off on this one, but I will definitely be buying this one
Re: Review: Prince of Persia (Wii Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
I have this on the SNES. Loved the game, but never beat it. Hard as nails!
