Re: PQube Drops PS Vita Support To Focus On Switch Development

Makes sense, even Sony abandoned the Vita. They are ending ps plus releases in March. The releases are slow and very niche. I enjoy both my Vita and PSTV and will keep them around for a while but I do wish there was more support. My PSTV is primarily a PS4 remote play machine to stream my PS4 to my bedroom and Vita keeps some usage when I fly (fairly frequently 3-12 hr flights).

That being said I also have a Switch that goes on those same flights, I might buy a 2nd dock but they are so pricey, maybe black Friday? If Switch got Netflix support that would be a solid push for a second dock since I otherwise only have a PS3 in that room to use Netflix I don't otherwise use.

I think a lot of y'all are missing the point. When the console is docked the Pro Controller already has a regular D-pad. If you want to play handheld the pro controller isn't an option, so if you still want a regular d-pad that is where this steps in. So someone playing a d-pad heavy game would use this in handheld and pro controller while docked.

I already do this (with the included joycons). My joycons rarely disconnect from the console. I just bust out my pro controller while docked.
