Re: Talking Point: What Would Make You Happy To Give Up Physical Games And Go 100% Digital?

This might be off topic, but I'm not sure Nintendo's first party games which consists of just Maro, Zelda, and Pokemon mostly, rotating year after year since the 80s, making the illusion of newer generations think it's a new game, or franchise beats out the number of Sony's first party games. (Nintendo might surprise you and come out with Metroid, pikman, or there other IPs every 5 years or something) Anyway I'm basically digital all anyway. I still have my PS3 physical games, and it's annoying to find a place to put them all. Also, are you really going to go back and play your games from previous generations, most likely not, you probably tell yourself you will. Anyway another is you need to...well find it in storage somewhere, and then you need to swap out the disk every time you want to play another game, and digital is just there and more convenient. Also I know people are always afraid saying, you don't have ownership and you could lose the game if the digital space gets erased or something. True, and I used to be all physical years ago, but now since I'm older, and that hasn't happened, and I'm pretty sure it's fine. Anyway I do still like physical for the disk player still though for movies, also I'll get collectors editions I like too, for the collectibles, but prefer the game still digital, or at least be able to copy your physical game to digital. Anyway that's why I still prefer a disk drive in my console is for movies. Anyway the switch is an amazing console, but I'm sorry it just doesn't look great with games or runs great anymore. It crashes all the time, (at least for me) even has a hard time loading video game trailers. Anyway I'm pretty sure everyone would be fine if the switch 2 looked just the same, but yeah everyone just wants a more powerful switch. (Hopefully on par with ps4 and up, at least it better be)
