I believe the XL model sells more in the US just because most Americans don't understand the difference between screen resolution and screen size. They see bigger and they assume better.
It's a shame as the games themselves get stretched out and don't look nearly as crisp. Then again, anyone remember games for their graphics?
There was actually quite a bit of content in Starfox 64. Does anyone remember the on foot combat for multi-player you could unlock? I was honestly surprised a lot of people who played that game didn't know about it.
@rjejr Then whoever trained those amiibo did a terrible job of training them. I've trained 3 amiibo to 50 and I can tell you that my beasty level 50 Mario is by far better than any level 9 CPU. I can barely manage to kill him twice before he kills me 10 times and I can beat multiple level 9s that are teamed against me.
