@electrolite77 Of course not. I just think that it's fairly obvious that some of the negative posts are obvious bait posted with the intention of trolling. Maybe you don't see any of the posts that way, we can agree to differ there. What I don't appreciate is your disingenuous attempt to portray me as having said that "anyone who thinks differently to me is a troll".
I have no idea whether you're embarrassed about missing the word "some" from my post and are trying to save face or if you're just oversensitive.
@electrolite77
I'm glad you agree that my point stands even if you missed it by a mile. I didn't call people who disliked the Wii U trolls, but some of the comments were too obvious and angry and didn't seem at all sincere.
@Tasuki It's not a given that every Wii U owning backer will buy a Switch though, so that's not a good solution by itself. I'd expect the option to swap to any other version or get a refund.
@gspro15198 That looks unlikely, I'm pretty sure they want to avoid the Wii U version being superior in any way. Besides, the official line is that "it was distracting" so it's unlikely they'll change from that stance.
@gspro15198 Despite the Sheikah slate being modelled on the gamepad, they've removed all gamepad use from the game. Aonuma claims it was distracting (even though it worked great for WW/TP HD). Obviously the real reason was that they didn't want the Wii U version to be 'superior' in any way so they nerfed it.

Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@Balta666 Fair enough, I was pretty curious.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@frogopus Good point! But yeah, it must be a slow news day since this is basically just a crosspost from reddit.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@frogopus Although that would mean it's not a great clue if it has multiple answers like that.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@IBeAGamer Another person who missed the word "some". Wonderful!
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@IBeAGamer I think it's telling that you assumed I was talking about you.

@electrolite77 Note the word "some" in my comment. Keep working at your vocabulary, you'll get there eventually.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@Alto In the Arwing you could pretty much ignore the motion controls, but yeah I guess they were unavoidable for the other vehicles.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
I'm really surprised by some of the hostility towards the Wii U in these comments. I guess some are just trolls.
Re: Random: New York Times Crossword Puzzle Forgets That The Wii U Was A Thing
@Balta666 I don't get it. Did you think Nintendo just took a 4 year break from making consoles?

Re: Eiji Aonuma Confirms that Breath of the Wild Will Not Support a Japanese Dub Over English Subtitles
@Maxz
"In other words, there are sections with VA but without text, so you'd still miss information even if you kept the text as English."
Thereby excluding deaf gamers. All in game speech should have (optional) subtitles.
