My fave MK, loved the strategy of it and the little buggys. Plus it had Diddy Kong!
Plus I don't like that everything is unlocked in MK8, I liked working to unlock mirror mode etc in the previous MK titles, had a good sense of achievement

Im not a big wrestling fan but i love this game, I find the art style and the whole retro theme really cool and it's super a fun game to play!

Definitely agree in terms of gameplay with the running feature and You should be able to hit people with the chair if they are on the floor and if you are running, but that being said was happy to part with the £18 to support the indie developer and in the hope they build on this and bring out lots of dlc! Can really appreciate how much care and passion has gone into making this

I play it with friends who are using other platforms and then it's not too bad, but I can never get a game when I turn cross play off ...

It shows now though with expectations of Nintendo that rather then hoping for new games in these classic franchises, We would accept a port. Don't get me wrong i would love a port of the games you mentioned, but just goes to show what is becoming the norm on the switch.

Yeah perhaps there isnt, but surely now is no better time to reintroduce these series, both for those new to Nintendo and those of us with the fond memories.
The success of the switch could mean bringing these game up to date and giving them a proper push, i think those of us who grew up with those games would have been buzzing if we learned one was in development.
Ill buy the remasters and ports but they dont have the same buzz as a new first party game

@MS7000 right there with you, and agree in regards to ports. I get remastering it but charging £50 is a kick in the teeth in my opinion.
Sadly I have no faith that if we did see f zero or a diddy Kong racing it would only be as a port again at £50

Hate to be negative but I came back to Nintendo with the switch after a long break and love it as a console. But personally the direct was a disappointment for me, and I am losing faith in Nintendo.
It feels like Nintendo are always cashing in, it's not just that they port so many games, I get that the wi u didn't perform, but how are they charging £50 for all these ports, 3d all stars didn't get the love it deserved and without making more of it should have been a £30 game. how they can charge £50 for a remake of a wi Zelda game, just makes me feel like they don't reward or look after a very loyal fan base.

I think with all the success of the switch now would be the time to bring some new first party games to Nintendo, and it's so disappointing that they aren't bringing games like Star fox, f zero, wave racer, diddy Kong racing, donkey Kong back.

It almost feels like a bit of a missed opportunity, I could be wrong and there is more coming, we have stuff to look forward to but the direct didn't do it for me, and when I see the prices of some of these games on preorder I don't think it's justified.

Sadly if we did get games like fzero they would probably be ports of N64 titles but how about new entries in the series, they have the cash and resources and the fan base is crying out for it!

Only just discovered Mark of the Ninja, but absolutely love it!
