Serious question: What are the other non-life sim management games besides Two Point Hospital that actually run well on Switch? I'd love to have a few on my Switch.
There's few games that I actually really despise but this is one of them. The edgelord effect this game had on Star Wars is still poisoning the understanding of what the movies are supposed to be about.
I think I might like this. Hated Fire Emblem Fates but LOVED Mercenaries Saga 2. Wonder how this compares to Ambition of the Slimes. Still not willing to put money down on Stella Glow. Story looks dull and too long.
Seems they've done a bit of work to improve the translation from the android version. Circle has its issues with translation but they appear to have improved on what I'm seeing on my phone.
@VanillaLake I guess I disagree. I've gotten 20 hours out of a quality game and have much more coming. I am in no way dissatisfied paying $10 for an optimal way to relive a classic RPG.
So, I don't get it. I bought this game this weekend and I love it. I've not played one of these games before so I'm not jaded by lower-quality entries in the series, I guess.
I played it for a few hours with 3 friends on Saturday and then enjoyed enough that I came back and played a ton of the single player campaign the following day. It's light, easy to pick up, fun, and it's easy to get into so new players don't feel like they're outmatched.
Portable systems need good party games. This checks off every item on my list in that regard.

Re: Soapbox: My Most-Played Game Of 2023 Isn't On Switch, But It Must Be On The Cards
I hate the ads for Marvel Snap. I don't think I've encountered marketing for a game that feel less genuine. There's just so much smugness.
In fact I have such little respect for Marvel Snap that I respect NL less for having run this article.

Re: Review: Legna Tactica (3DS eShop)
@zipmon Thanks, I think I'll play that next. Especially at the price it's at.

Re: Hands On: Waiting for the End of the World in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Have to try to track a cheap used copy to see if I like playing SMT, but the atrocious voice acting in the trailers always makes me wary of the games.
Re: Guide: Which Version Of Fire Emblem Fates Should You Buy?
@BranJ0 Skip Birthright. It got stale fast.
And I'm in the minority but I thought the story, writing and vocal worked ranged from okay to obnoxiously weak.
Fire Emblem Fates was pretty disappointing IMHO.

I'm going to name the dragon in that thumbnail "Cornflower."
