The problem isn't even just the ugly graphics, it's that the gameplay has intentionally been left obfuscated. This is why you keep seeing people comparing this to Breath of the Wild, when the two games have nothing in common beyond both containing trees and grass.

Gameplay looks just as bland as the graphics. Apologists will pretend this looks good though, their identity depends on it.

It will be something slightly open-world with adventure elements (which is what they steering all their other properties towards). "Nintendo Kart" is literally the type of unimaginative garbage that fanboys on the internet come up with.

I'm fine with whips being used on fictional monsters that are already beating each other to near death on human command.

Nothing about this suggests this game will be good. They've only offered vague glimpses of the game and are letting people fill in the blanks with their imagination, which ultimately leads to disappointment when people actually play it.

There is no conceivable way Arceus will ever be what people are cooking up in their minds that it is. The game simply does not look good.
