If there's one thing in life that we can say with absolute certainty, it's that Bidoof is one excellent little beast.
We imagine the fine folks at The Pokémon Company feel the same way, because the delightful little beaver has been treated to its very own animation on the company's official YouTube channel. It's called 'Bidoof’s Big Stand', has a runtime of approximately eight minutes, and is lovely.
Here's the synopsis:
A bumbling Bidoof with a tendency to bite off more than it can chew finds itself between a rock and a hard place as it embarks on a journey to find its place in the world.
Ah, life seems a little bit better now, right?
As for why this wasn't posted on Bidoof Day, which is indeed a thing? Well, this thread gives us the heartwarming answer:

This is the greatest thing mankind has ever created. Why is a 8 minute short about Bidoof the best thing ever. Also, the trainer is literally just RTGame.
BIDOOF BIDOOF!! The real god of Pokemon
Bidoof deserves its own game
Oh no...they’re becoming aware.
This is great, I love it! Hopefully they give us more very soon
That ending actually made me tear up a bit! Loved it.

Really fun short. I've liked all the different animations Pokemon are doing now.
This has no right being as good as it is, we don't deserve bidoof.
Looking forwards to all the memes this produces the upcoming days though.
This was, indeed, genuinely delightful.
@ShePenny Well, for one this isn’t the tread for that, and secondly it’s much better that it isn’t an open world game, given level scaling.
@mariomaster96 Indeed, they should make Let's Go Bidoof!
Bidoof is a god for some reason. Imagine if The Pokemon Company makes a short showing Bidoof as the true creator of the universe? Fun times...
@ValZ but then it cuts to "real.life" and bidoof is just playing with blocks and action figures.
That was a really nice animation. Man with all these animation shorts and series TPC are really showing Pokemon as the multi-media juggernaut it is in a way not seen since the late 90's.
I half wonder if that's why Nintendo want to get a piece of that action with the Mario movie.
as always, rollout saves the day
In the words of Robert Roode, this is most indeed GLORIOUS!
@ShePenny Judging from your comment history, you are frothing at the mouth to trash Pokemon Legends just as much as you can. Too bad your negativity and desire to be a wet blanket compels you to comment like this even in a completely unrelated article.
Really well done animation! Very cute, charming and genuinely funny. I always enjoy it when Pokémon embrace their underdogs like this.
This was so absurdly good I can't even believe it
