Are you paid by Nintendo? Seriously. Your passive aggressiveness about Nintendos complete failure to update the switches capabilities is easy to detect. YouTube, Netflix, or a web browser? VIRTUAL CONSOLE. Still nope. How can you still back Nintendo with that tragedy? If Nintendo has zero plans for the switch to be a true multimedia device they need to just say so instead of stringing us along with high hopes.
@gatorboi352 So far this is true. Not sure what this writer is talking about........2-3 triple A slam dunks and the rest is filler junk. I forgot this is Nintendolife so they are clearly bias in a postive way.
@JaxonH Arms fell flat for me and from what I hear a ton of other people barring the most devout players that are in a crazy minority right now. A proper Western release of a monster hunter remake would satisfy me but other than that I feel it's very slim pickings and Nintendo knows it. There is def an agenda or we would be seeing way more wii/u stuff porting over. We have one. ONE. Mario kart. Unkess I'm missing one?
@faint I hear ya. But even then they are not created equal. At this point Zelda and Splatoon 2 are the only Triple A pure gold games for the switch. That's it. 2 games.
@faint Yes there are a few. I guess I'm just a bit salty we don't have more remakes like Xbox one did with a lot of its 360 games granted as someone who played all the 360 games I complained about all of those and not enough new stuff so it's hard to please everyone. I think for a lot of people including myself that have held off on Nintendo products for a while the switch seemed like the perfect jump back in purchase. I guess the software rate just hasn't met my expectations. Bayonetta 2? Monster hunter? Smash? Xeno? A Mario or Zelda hd remaster collection? BOWLING!?!? Something. Those would be estore gold. Not this kinda stuff. Just my opinion.
More trash games. Well done Nintendo. How about some freaking ports/remakes from wii/u games that some of us that have been off the Nintendo boat for a while. Very disappointed in the game lineup so far. Thinking I was gonna be able to play some Catch-up with Nintendo and finally in "hd". NOT
@Gerald I have thought about this also. It would make most sense to simply travel back in time via the Temple of time and play for 10,15,20 hours or so leading up to the final assault with each champion and maybe how they acquired the beasts to begin with. Maybe link assisted each champion in "taming" each beast so we could see a revamped Divine beast dungeons and then the final assault! Incentive to travel back and forth in time would also be cool and be good for replay value instead of one and done.
@faint I am one of "those" men that prefer to stick with role playing as a male and who also grows very attached to whatever character I'm playing and also prefers the type of dlc that simply expands upon what I already love about whatever game it is without throwing a "monkey wrench" into the equation. Bottom line? I like link, I've spent 100's of hours as link and don't want play 10-20 as a princess or another character because I feel it fractures the cumulative experience. For example, love witcher 3 dlc, hate ffXiv's. But that's just my preference so I understand they're people who dig that. Hard to please everyone I guess. Another example would be Wildlands, instead of just adding all that dlc into the core experience they broke each one off into its own little contained game. Nothing carries over. Rockstar has done this in the past and I will admit I was ok with it but those actually felt like seperate games because rockstar just knows how to.....rock. I would have killed for some single player gta5 dlc.
@Pupito Yes plz! There is a feeling I get when playing this game that only MMOs like WoW have been able to create. It really feels so big and alive that it would be a shame to just leave it be and move on to a sequel. Rebuilding Hyrule castle and other ruins throughout the land would be amazing. Cant wait!
Hey all, new to mario kart 8 and I'm confused about why none of these stats are even remotely explained in the game. One of my biggest gripes with Deluxe and the game in general is it's overly simple concept and everything being unlocked. Seeing these stats offers some depth I suppose but im baffled none of it is viewable in game. All in all I just don't see the appeal of playing Mario kart 8 deluxe as a first timer other than a few rounds of local mp with the kids here and there.

@readyletsgo If I was forced to play as a princess I would be so pissed. Link 4 life.
