@Einherjar the Rayman games (I own both and have finished both) are not as good as Mario platformers.

Lost Worlds is also not that good in my opinion, but it does have a more rhythmic gameplay style to it, which is quite hard to master.

Rayman doesn't have that. The jumps in it do not require PIXEL PERFECTION. It's easy. It's so easy.

That's probably why you can't play Sonic. Or Need for Speed for that matter. (Which you say is a good game, yet you can't play it????)

As for Mario World, Smash Bros, Mario Kart etc. Of course they will improve sales.

Ubisoft are never gonna boost console sales in Japan with any of their titles.

Anyway I'm not worried about either title. I have hero mode to finish in Wind Waker, which is a much more worthwhile distraction to either Rayman or Sonic.

Fact is.... that Rayman is a crap platformer. It has nice graphics and sound, even good level design.

But the gameplay doesn't flow like Mario, or even Sonic Lost world.

And it's a western-y type game.

I dont give a toss about third parties on Wii U.

Bring it on Nintendo. The wii u is looking hot as hell for the next while in my opinion.

I bought Most Wanted for Wii U and loved it. I usually avoid EA games because I have morals.

Although I used to love the Burnout series, therefore made an exception.

@GN004Nadleeh I would say that Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze will be unlikely to disappoint. If you have played Donkey Kong Returns you should realise how good it is.

It is a tight platformer, in every way.

There is quite a difference in the caliber of Sonic and Donkey Kong platformers.

If you don't realise the differences then you'd probably just be better off avoiding platform games in general.

I am aware of the Gamecube SC doing well in comparison to other formats.

I also really, really would like to see that series on Wii U. It is also a shame about Ultra SFIV not coming to Wii U.

It may be "okay". It certainly is nothing more. It is not a distinguished beat em up and nowhere near the standard of Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul series, etc...

Tat vs Capcom on Wii is a better beat em up.

I think I can get over this, We have one of the best Beat em ups available in our version of Tekken Tag.

Injustice is a poor beat em up in my opinion, very poor, (as is Mortal Kombat.)

The Wii U does not need games like this. This sort of crap doesn't shift consoles. No major loss.

I buy Nintendo to play Nintendo. If I wanted to play other stuff I'd play other consoles/PC.

Nintendo will always prevail in some form, due to their philosophy.
They are true to their vision. There are millions of Nintendo gamers who agree. They may be dwindling slightly in numbers. But a good hardcore selection of Nintendo first party content for the Wii U and the 3DS will consolidate more younger gamers into their way of thinking.

Once you are a Nintendo gamer and you are "caught"
It is pretty hard to enjoy the majority of games by other companies.

Nintendo will survive. If not... I will stop playing games.

Oh, annoyingly, I cannot play the DLC on both my Wii U consoles.
I know this isn't new news. It is still annoying.
That's my only gripe with Nintendo, sort out the DRM and I will be loyal forever!!!

This DLC was fantastic, I finished it at the weekend and it took roughly 15 hours according to my play records on the Wii U.

As a serious Mario and Nintendo fanatic I really enjoyed New Super Mario Bros U.
The additional challenge of the Luigi DLC is fantastic. Genuinely some of the toughest 2D Mario levels I ever played.

Fire Bar Mountain was my favorite level in the original version but Fire Bar sprint in New Super Luigi U may just be better!

I had such a great weekend playing it!
Thank you to my Girlfriend, who took herself away for a few days, which made it all possible!

I'm kinda hoping that it's maybe Mario Galaxy for the Wii U.

But it could be Starfox, FZero or maybe another resurrection from Nintendo's archives?
