Looking forward to Shuuen no Virche, Radiant Tale and Death Mark 2! Shuuen no Virche is said to be have a lot of horror-like themes so I'm curious to see if it manages to make me uncomfortable. It's supposed to be gory too. Death Mark 2 is also getting a Cero Z rating and I'm happy to find out why~ Love me some horror VNs~
There is probably a reason why they didn't just release an english version of the switch game. For the longest time it was unlikely for us to get the switch version at all. But I'm still curious why they choose this way.
Also there is one upside to this: I can buy the Japanese physical edition of the game and only need to get the English DLC to play it in English. They probably couldn't afford an English physical release. This way we can still technically get one (even if it's more difficult to import). Honestly if it's this or never getting certain otome games in English for switch then I will take this weird way with an English DLC any day.
But I can't help but hope that maybe Limited Run could get involved and get us a proper English physical edition...
@iLikeUrAttitude if you watch the trailer you can see bullet-hell gameplay. I wish it was just a visual novel because bullet-hell makes my eyes hurt. I don't know if I should get it or not...
@UltimateOtaku91 I think the reason for that is because bishoujo/eroge are more focused on PC. On PC they can have adult content while on console they can't. So most original eroge are released on PC and not everyone is keen on buying a censored console port. Otome games on the other hand only rarely have adult content and most often start out on console. This is why there are way more otome games to localise on Switch than bishoujo. I personally wish for Tsukihime to come west too...
I can't wait for this one! It's supposed to be a really funny romcom which are currently pretty rare in localised otome (Variable Barricade is coming too later). I love my serious adventure and sometimes thrilling otome but I like to play different genres of it too!
