Japan has been absolutely knocking it out of the park in the last 2 years in gaming, for sure. In terms of games other than FIFA, CoD etc, almost everything good has been from Japanese studios. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but I've never played this many Japanese games and never this consistently! Quality and Quantity
This article actually made me try to remember some games, and Alpha Protocol is what I eventually came up with. I had to Google Spy Games from the 2000's though 😅
It was a proper, proper RPG if I remember, with skill trees, customisation and decisions with consequences, partly cheesy, partly decent. I'd probably play it if it was ported to the switch, but I doubt it will be, it's licenses expired in 2019.
There's definitely no need to dupe Zonaite, I've been exploring the depths, because I enjoy doing that every so often, and there's absolutely piles of it near every encounter.
And if a quest giver wants some specific items, I'll go find them at some point, if it seems worth it. Rather than stand Infront of them duping it
And I've made a bunch of rupees from side quests, caves with ore, and attacking Bubbulfrog sprites before they lead you off to a cave. They literally explode with small amounts of rupees lol.
But I'm still not updating the game, just incase, as I've put in so much time playing as intended, and if I reach a point where it suddenly takes me out of my enjoyment to go and collect 100 something's that I've already used or sold, to advance the fun parts, then I want that sweet backup as I don't want to end up giving up on the game, as I can do at times if they suddenly get grindy. This game is too fun for not finishing
@smashbrolink yeah, I have an absolute tonne of items in my inventory that I will probably never even use, so I can just sell all of that if I do need anything. Fight everything is the quickest way to hoard stuff, and it's enjoyable too. Especially in the depths where you fight enemies who drop an actually usable resource in zonanite, who are conveniently stood next to big piles of... more zonanite 😁
So today I've basically done absolutely nothing of note in the game despite playing it for a few hours. I spent maybe 20 minutes sourcing porridge 😅 the rest of the time just more little side stuff in one village, cave treasure hunting and some exploration. I did unlock one really cool cutscene, number 6, I believe, so that scratched a little story/lore itch 😁
I definitely want to get back onto some of the main path when I next pick it up. Probably by continuing my started exploration to the north east, which will no doubt lead to more side adventures anyway. It's cool how you can pick up bits of lore and story just by reading things and exploring too, so that's nice.
A beautiful mix of story, exploration, some puzzling and also experimenting with various game elements to see if I can find weird things. I've been attacked by chickens, used a Fashion Designer as a human shield, had plenty of Korok fun, sent two NPC's plummeting to their death in funny deadpan cutscenes (although they miraculously survive)
Enjoying the gameplay loop and the ability to mix it up depending on how I feel. And the quest design is just spectacular, how it draws you to discover more organically, but in such a way that it's kind of loosely scripted if you follow certain paths. Very accessible to new players.
The "Tulin" quest was a really memorable journey too.
I've owned the game for just as long as any of these advanced super power gamers, and yet I'm only just about to unlock my third tower when I next play, and I have 5 hearts and one battery. That s*** is crazy 😅😅
I feel like a kid again! (This game has got to me 😄) and I want that adventure pack and I want it now. But it releases in August on Amazon 😭😭😭
Also, this is my first comment here, since I just bought a Switch Oled and Zelda TotK on an absolute whim for the love of games 😄 and I've since bought a controller and a dongle to turn ps5 controllers into Switch controllers to play this beautiful game in as many ways as possible. And I can't stop myself 😂😂 any other paraphernalia I "need" as I'm new to switch? 😁

Re: Random: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom NPCs Call Out "Naked Link"
I believe my profile picture says it all 😏
Protection is always secondary in games like this and Elden Ring 😁

Yes, it's Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
