SNES #1 - I have never played a Super NES game and been disappointed by the controller. I cannot say the same for any of the others. The Switch Pro I do enjoy using for games that do not need a dpad. But for things like Tetris the unintentionally hard drops are incredibly frustrating. GCN - Silly small dpad, but loved the analogue shoulders and stick feels so smooth.
I am a NES Tetris player, so the visuals and modern rules kind of put me off, but picked this up in the sale as was curiousity got the better of me. TEC is now currently my most played Tetris version. I played through Journey, and the core Tetris mechanics were in complete symbiosis with the synesthesia. I wasn't distracted in the slightest. l then found Classic Online Vs mode. It's the closest I will get to competitive NES Tetris, it's very addictive. Old rules with TEC style. Will certainly be adding the the LRG collection, possibly the vinyl too.
Super excited to get this on NSO. Have the controller ready to go! Wave Race 64 certainly gave me that arcade feel I was craving when it was released. Got so addicted to it, especially with all the secrets to unlock. So much fun riding the waves and jumping about. I seem to recall a dolphin too...

Just finished the game. Your spot on with the review. Enjoyed what is there, left me wanting more. Which when it arrives, I'll be sure to play.
Re: Feature: Best TATE Mode Nintendo Switch Games
Twinbee is a classic that plays great on Switch in tate. Switch 'n' Shoot has tate mode too, if you like twitchy left/right games.
