Aspyr Media has announced two new physical bundles for Nintendo Switch, both heading to stores this November.
The first bundle, Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection, includes both Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy; the second, Star Wars Racer and Commando Combo, features Star Wars: Republic Commando and Star Wars Episode I: Racer. The two bundles actually leaked some time ago, but it's nice to see their releases be officially announced.
Each of these will be launching across Europe and North America on 16th November, priced at $29.99 / 29.99€ / £25.99. They'll also arrive on PS4 a little earlier, hitting retail on 26th October for the same prices.
You can find our reviews for each of the four games included across the two bundles by clicking on their names above, but we also have a quick rundown of each for you below:

Something something Limited Run, Something something dark side of the force.
I got the LRG releases But hey you can't win them all!
Good grief! LRG buying regret.....
Great that more folks will be able to have these physically though (gritted teeth)
@Zuljaras You are not the only one.
Damn, it's Amazon, they would even take off the VAT and get free delivery
Wow I really got ripped off by Limited Run
No KOTOR? That would've made a great bundle with republic commando.
No Super Star Wars:(
Oh? Something that is not affiliated with Limited Run or any other similar group?
Why yes, I will be buying these.
If you are in the UK they are both on Argos website for pre order at £25.99. Long live the mighty Argos!!
For the love of all good things, give us the Rogue Squadron games please!
@Funneefox
Yeah I wouldn't mind a bundle of the SNES trilogy.
Can i cut off Body Parts or are they censored?
I really wish we’d get some of the rogue squadron/leader games. Wonder if that’ll ever happen?
They have been on amazon for about a bit over a month now
I just got Republic Commando for Switch physical from LRG. Any way to get Episode 1 Racer separately physical?
@Wyatt006 I’m hoping they port KOTOR II in the near future. Then double pack both KOTOR games in a physical bundle. That would be awesome.
@Wyatt006
Don't you think it's a little early bundle KOTOR? It wasn't too long ago when they announced it on the Nintendo Direct.
Next up... Shadows of the Empire.
Rogue Squadron Trilogy please
One compilations appears significantly superior to the other. I too would like better Star Wars games on the Switch though I am glad "Episode 1: Racer" came to the platform. Republic commando is OK.
Widely distributed, unlike LRG versions.
Contains 2 games instead of 1,unlike LRG versions.
Cheaper than LRG's versions, both in MSRP and no outrageous shipping cost.
One time print publishers are not heroes. They are a symptom of a larger industry problem. I can still find tons of strange, mediocre titles at retail, yet many awesome indie games are nowhere to be found through the same channels. It makes no sense.
It also makes no sense to see freakin STAR WARS released through a limited release.
@Don Ebay the LRG version from a scalper at a 100% price markup! 😛😔
@ModdedInkling Not really, it's already been proven to be a popular game. And the one thing that would tempt me to buy would be a physical copy.
@Wyatt006
Don't assume I didn't know the game already existed. The fact that it's one of the most popular Star Wars games to date (and a precursor to The Old Republic, one of the last Legends universe Star Wars games that is still being officially supported today) is pretty much the reason why it's getting a separate release. They release a bundle, they lose money.
Own them all digitally, between this and my SW library on Xbox i own quite a lot of SW games now. Really hope Aspyr bring the real Battlefront games to Switch as i would love to own them on it, KOTOR next though what i'm dead excited about.
@Bunkerneath I mean, the value of limited run games goes up alit after a short period of time. You could probably sell them, buy these and have a tidy sum left over.
@E_Gadds_Garage I'm hoping for that as well but it seems fairly unlikely because the original KOTOR is nearly 16GB on Switch, so they'd need to use a 32GB cartridge to get both games on, which almost never happens (The Witcher 3 is the only Switch game released on a 32GB cartridge outside of Japan that I know of).
@Don LRG
@Azuris you can do that. The Jedi knight games are both great ports.
I wonder if KOTOR will be physical, that would be pretty cool.
That is actually a very reasonable and fair price for a physical collection, it's basically the price of the games on the eShop, just combined, no Switch tax to get them physical.
And that's the LRG version of racer on eBay...
So how was this a Limited Run? Is it perhaps a Limited Re-Run?
I had Jedi outcast on my first ever PC. I had to use cheat codes to get anywhere in the game, but with wall clipping and God mode, I got some fun out of it.
...I need to get Racer at some point...I never got far with it way back then, barely played the N64 version and on PC I always kept getting crashes.
@Burning_Spear
Limited Run Games limits the amount of copies it makes, but doesn't stop the developer from also releasing with another publisher (See: Streets of Rage 4, which angered people as a standard physical release was announced for Europe shortly after Limited Run orders closed)
Some other limited publishers DO prevent developers from future releases, such as Super Rare Games (although they did make an exception for Human Fall Flat after it became successful)
I would have liked Racer and Masters of Teras Kasi duel cart
Wait, they never announced these? I ordered them for work on Amazon last week. Wild.
Keen on the racer/commando cart. Will pick up when i see it. Have never played either but they look fun.
