Re: Review: Metro 2033 Redux - A Truly Astonishing Switch Port Of A Genre Classic

@Heavyarms55 Stealth isn't a requirement, you can choose what way to deal with the human enemies - you can toggle options on the menu screen that will give you an experience with more/less bullets and filters to suit either play style...

SPOILERS

The horror is more of being in a confined space and survival, the creatures are very much of a sci-fi nature!

Whilst I've played these through on PS4 and have no plan to double-dip (I only use my Switch docked), It's incredible what 4A have achieved in porting these over. I'd highly recommend both Metro titles to Switch users new to the franchise, they're incredibly atmospheric and at times touching and thoughtful (the tales and plights of characters). I'd recommend going full stealth mode (apart from run-ins with creatures which force you to fight for the most part), headphones on, dim the lights and you'll have a blast...

Re: Video: PS4's Dreams Is Being Flooded With Awesome Super Mario Games

@H3r0oftim3 Dreams is a very powerful software creator on a powerful console. It's user generated from children upwards but you go ahead with your superiority and piss on their chips for their "sloppy" work.

@glaemay Yet again you're on another hysterical "Sony is Evil" diuretic diatribe. Where has Sony said "Mario is now on PS4 and you no longer need a switch". Why do you continue to quote Sony when it's really just down to your continually outlandish, lying embittered fanboy posts?

Re: Feature: Super Rare Games On 2 Years Of Switch Releases And The Future Of Physical Media

Profondo

I'll always go for physical when possible, I have 176 physical PS4 games and around 120 digital (for PS+ and indies). For Switch (which I've only had for a few weeks) I have 10 physical (the Mario's, Zelda's, Donkey Kong etc) and 13 digital. I'll definitely go for physical including buying from companies like Limited Run (and Super Rare now I'm aware of them!) . I also have over 1k Blu-rays, countless books and over 1k CD's!
Without sounding like an old fart, I do think there's a part of this that's age (I'm 49) and generational. My friends kids (from teens to early 20's) think it quaint I collect physical media! Everything now is disposable, download and watch, stream, read and delete! I do use the likes of Netflix and download games but in both cases only for the indies I can't source physically. I'd like to read an in-depth analysis covering all the above as I'd be very interested in the demographics...

Re: The Wonderful 101: Remastered Smashes Its $1.5 Million Stretch Goal, Platinum Reveals Two More

@gameboy1975 I've just recently purchased a Switch and the "essentials" to play on it and am thoroughly enjoying my nostalgia with the Mario titles and losing myself in Breath Of The Wild! I have a PS4 Pro which I equally adore for the exclusives and the 4k tech to go with my setup. I only use my Switch in docked mode and understand I'm not getting 4k with all the bells and whistles but it's not dampening my enjoyment one bit. The fanboy BS is immature, unnecessary and tired - I've replied to another member on here who's so damned blinkered and inept with his argument it's laughable! Let's all enjoy our chosen console(s) without the histrionics I say!

@glaemay Are you for real? Sony didn't make billions out of Ueda, they actually lost money supporting him! Tell me what exclusives Nintendo funded that get ported elsewhere to other consoles, apart from 101 which is under discussion here and Rare titles which were not Nintendo owned? Nintendo hold onto their IP like Sony and Microsoft. And again I'll ask you, can you see Mario Cart, Zelda, Smash Bros, Super Mario, Pokémon, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles etc on other consoles? NO! Because Nintendo (like Sony and Microsoft) are a "control freak megacorp" who make games that BELONG to Nintendo! My opinion has as much value as yours. You sir, seem to be the one brainwashed by immature fanboiisim. I'd give up now as your rants are making you look extremely silly!

@glaemay Get a grip you're sounding like a salty fanboy! Here's a few facts to balance your hysterical and biased post - Nintendo only owned a minority stake in Rare and Rare were a SECOND party developer for them, Nintendo didnt allow Rare to share IP out the goodness of their hearts or because they believe in artistic freedom! Ueda was a FIRST party developer for Sony and they were pretty damned patient considering the money he burned whilst delivering games continually late and well over budget - good luck with any other company he works with that can reign in his "creation". Naughty Dog are a wholly OWNED subsidiary of Sony (and have been since 2001) why on earth would you think they would allow their franchises on rivals machines? Why would Microsoft? Why would Nintendo? do you see Nintendo allowing Mario on Playstation or XBox? NO! so why are they not "control freak megacorp who keep exclusives forever"? Mmmm?
