Re: Review: Fall Guys - The World’s Most Chaotic Game Show Lands On Switch, Now F2P

7 is about the right score. I'm an OG player from PS4 days and was excited to play this handheld. And meh. The buttons are a tad delayed, it's laggy, weirdly bad graphically, and just feels off in general. BUT it isn't unplayable. I got a crown my first game, and the new levels are a lot of fun. Being both on switch and free is a great way for kids to discover Fall Guys when few probably had the chance to.

As for nerfing the crowns. It does kinda suck but they technically already nerfed them when they tied them to level up rewards in the first big update pre-epicgames. I appreciate the kudos at least in exchange.

Fall Guys isn't really about winning anyways. I've put in hundreds of hours and maybe won 20-25 games? It's just silly fun, and great with friends. But it should probably be better than it is on Switch. I'll probably stick to it on my PS5.

I'm surprised there are so many negative opinions of this game. I played about an hour or two with a friend on co-op and thought it was great. Yes it was difficult, but never to the point of anger. No section took us more than a couple tries. It was fun to figure out the puzzles.

More than that I thought the gross out asthetic was hilarious. Def focused on shock value and humor. It oozed charm...among other things lol. My favourite part was the scattered "secret" hats and the whispers that alert you to them.

I can't speak to the rest of the game but my first impressions were far better than a five.
