As a child of the 80s/90s I used to love having physical copies of games with their big bulky instruction manuals but now I’m closer to 40 with children of my own, the convenience of having my entire library at my finger tips, cheap digital sales and the space saving aspect has converted me to the digital darkside. I know that physical has the resale prospects but I’ve noticed over the current generation that games really lose their value quickly!
@Tandy255 I’m sure after rate of exchange, there probably isn’t that much in it between the two countries. I think I’ve been a bit biased about the whole thing as I love the N64, one of my all time favourite consoles, and have a well paid job and am more than happy to pay the extra but everyone’s circumstances and tastes are different and can understand that not everyone will be as happy to pay it
@Spagetti69 isn’t everything just to rent l these days though? Netflix, Spotify, PS Plus, games with gold, Now Tv, Amazon Prime. It’s not ideal but it’s the world we live in where everyone wants you to sign up to some form of subscription service so it’ll depend on the individual if they think it’s worth it for the particular product.
@BirdBoy16 I think it’s different in the uk. We have to pay £17.99 a year for basic NSO and the upgrade is going to be an extra £17, to make it £34.99. I think an extra £17 will be worth it if we have a total library of 20 odd games over the next year. Obviously the quality will eventually speak for itself but I’m excited to have the ocarina of time on a modern console and tv
Guys, it’s 67p a week for 58 NES games, 49 SNES games, 9 N64 games, 14 Mega Drive games plus more incoming. Plus online and a few other perks. I’m not really sure what the rip off is here? But if you don’t like it, then don’t subscribe. Me personally, I think it’s worth it to have such a large library of classic games that I can play on a modern big screen tv and on the go if I wanted to
Always docked for me. Never really been a fan of hand held gaming, I get the convenience but I’d always want to see a game in all its glory on a big screen
An extra £17 a YEAR for what will like be around at least 20 N64 games and probably many more Mega Drive Games. I don’t have access to an N64, games or even a compatible tv to play it on anymore and never been a fan of playing video games on pc, I’m more of a controller on the couch kinda gamer so I’m over the moon with this expansion. Looking forward to showing my kids Ocarina of time!

Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed
@Trajan sounds waaayyy to complicated to me. Plus I’d have to buy a pc and all the extra gubbins. The future can wait a bit longer for me
Re: Switch's N64 And Sega Genesis Controllers Are Now Up For Pre-Order
Ugly, prone to breaking and massively overpriced……ordered four of them

While on the subject of obscure games, gonna give a shout-out to Wetrix!

@Mattock1987 Yes! Hybrid Heaven! You must be the other person who played it! Loved that game!
