Nintendo owns Creature INC as well, meaning the 2/3 of the IP is owned by Nintendo and their other internal studios. @ZenTurtle you're exactly right. I think the next Nintendo console will explode because the general public will think it's the next system after the wii, and if they release the new zelda and a new mario on the nx as launch titles , Nintendo will be able to sit back and watch the money come in. They need to do this right and if they don't they will just continue trying every 3-4 years until they do lol
It's so weird people saying they shouldn't have said anything. That to me sounds like impatient fanboys being children. Of course they had to announce it, their market share was declining and their fan base were disappearing. Announcing this was the best thing they could ever do. It's what they announce, that is going to determine the future for the NX. Bring on 2016!
