What flexability will 3rd parties have to upgrade their games?
I imagine it's not straight forward as the switch 2 cannot natively run switch 1 content. But maybe there is a translation code package that can turn on VRR, HDR, etc. It would be nice to fix that blurry switch look that plagued most games on the switch 1.
As a big fan of the games and a long-term skateboarder, I say: welcome back! He's clearly got issues, but he was a big part of the culture and he shouldn't have to be excluded from what is essentially a re-release of his cultural impact.
@Zuljaras Clive Barkers Undying! what a fun time. The press video said that any software can be 'installed' on it, like a PC. It didn't cover the annoying things like playing non-steam games easily without many 3rd party apps making the controller talk to the game. The video has a slide or 2 warning devs that they have to make their games support steam controller system or be left behind.
For example, the nintendo switch controller has full support through steam, but if you try to play GoG or Epic games with the switch pro (through steam) only some games work, a lot dont.
I hope they smooth it out, but after the whole steam controller, steam box ordeal, i wouldn't hold my breath!
Moba's are great fun, i am quite keen to get my hands on this. The demo wasnt in my region. Arena of Valor was 'ok' but clearly an experiment on switch. I really want a moba designed for the switch.
This marketing tactic is a joke.
Aerial_Knight acts like he's got something new to show the world and 'the man' is keeping him down. I think he has a basic and derivative endless runner. His story is 'dodgy' at best and his game looks miserably generic, just type 'runner' on the google store and you'll find hundreds of games that look exactly the same, with 'cool' soundtracks and 'futuristic' art styles.
He's a cry baby who's using this sob story to make his game stand out in social media because it could never stand on its own.
If he wants to talk about the games industry and injustices, then fair enough. This game and social media campaign, however, are not respectable ways to go about it
I played the original version 'Toy Stunt Bike' on the 3DS, it was surprisingly fun for the price (<5 dollars i think) and i ended up 100%ing that game within a couple days. This looks like a solid improvement in visuals and stability although very similar in content. I recommend giving it a go if you havnt played the 3DS one, especially if it's as cheap as chips.
I, like many, am not really interested unless it had split screen coop. i'm not rich enough to buy 2 switches and 2 copies of the game just to play with my mate/sibling/partner. especially with a game like this, where you just defend against waves of enemies. i can play COD blackops 2 on the wiiU with 4 player splitscreen and bots, and with a little bit of role play, can have a nearly identical experience. oh and codBO2 on wiiU costs 4 dollars brand new...
