@Tasuki How can you call it a rehash if it was one of the first top down POV/non-shooter action RPG, if not the very first? The graphics may be blocky by today's standards, but one doesn't play original generation video games for the graphics, one plays to understand (or nostalgia, in my case) the foundations for today's generation of video games, no?
I too found the MQ version of Oot to be difficult, but I look forward to taking a crack at it on another system. Come to think of it, I might just start working on my GCN version anyway...
True, and I must simply retract anything that made it sound like I would not enjoy the game, as I truly have. I love the gameplay style, and it is just challenging enough, that I have yet to unlock the last race setting, but have had a great deal of fun unlocking the three that I have unlocked so far! I think that the strongest suit, is the soundtrack, it helps when I have to repeat a race or tour so many times, that the soundtrack is DaftPunk/Justice type awesome stuff!
This could be a disaster of an epic Tobal No.1/Bouncer proportion! I don't like to second guess when it comes to religion, but this sounds like a seriously bad move for SE. Also, does anyone remember what happened with the Seiken Densetsu series? Yeah, it sucks now, and it is still being done by SE. Therefore I can only imagine what some western POS team might do to the holy perfection that is Chrono Trigger. I think rerelease of either Trigger or Cross would be fine, just don't try anything new with this cup of Christ of video gaming history. Now, maybe a fleshing out of Radical Dreamers could be okay, since it was text based, and just kinda okay in the first place? How about that, SE?
This makes some sense, because of how close we are to being able to do that as of now. Of course, there is also the PSP Go, which is at that point already, not that it has been exactly impressive, but still kinda convenient-ish. But if this is true, then their lack of word on retroactive compatibility would more than likely mean there will be zero, and that makes me about as sad as possible.
WTF! Why put this on the damn iPhone, any sense of mastery of this mighty game is going to be lost to the wind, since the controls are going to be shot. Turn based RPGs are fine, but an action RPG on the iPhone is going to be 100% dreadful.
This is gonna be awesome, I have a group of four (myself included) that played through all of the Crystal Chronicles titles, this looks like it could be the next title we play through!
So, I have never played dotstream, but I definitely played light stream (indie game for XBLA) which has a similar aesthetic appeal. This game is amazingly addictive and puzzling at the same time beautiful and fun, I really enjoy it, and I am still working on unlocking the last two racing areas.
Okay, not complaining, but isn't this a suped up/better funded version of the indie game streamline? I can't wait for it to come out, because it was a nice game, fun, but very limited, and once the multi player/dimension aspect is added, this game is gonna be pretty freakin' awesome. Here is the URL to the video were streamline was reviewed. http://current.com/groups/video-game-reviews/90099014_xna-roundup-19-clover-and-streamline.htm

Re: Sega Pondering Bringing Adult Titles to 3DS
I would love to see a remake of "I want my space channel 5" for any system, but on 3DS, would be even better!

Re: Kingdom Hearts Returns to DS with Re:coded
More than likely, yes, but this could still be rather fun, though.

Now you're thinking fourth dimensionally!

Re: Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
I would almost say it doesn't matter, the main story is awesome, but any one of the add-ons have been pretty damn cool so far, in my opinion.
