It will (reportedly) run Unreal Engine 4 and do games at 1080p 60FPS. That's good enough for me. Lets not forget Wii U has 2GB RAM. Just look at some games on it. Double that is not a bad thing

I would be 100% sold. My Switch will only serve me as home console. That'll be it's only purpose.

I'm personally glad two screen gameplay is gone. That's the biggest down side of Wii U. I'd rather always use pro controller when possible. Longer battery life not to mention

Considering the fact that it'll be home system with a remote play option, it's highly likely to have many exclusives. Before Nintendo games were separated to handheld and home system. Now they both will cover one system to do it all meaning that there will be sh*tloads of first party titles

I haven't seen anything hardcore with that PS VR just gimmicks just like when PS Move launched. My money will go for NX. At least with NX I'll be getting Nintendo first party goodness for years to come

enough with screen controllers! That's the reason why I hate Wii U and if NX has such controller, it'll will most likely be bad move.

So it seems that the will be possible two systems (home and handheld) that both use the same physical format (in this case cartridge). It would be great for Nintendo. There would be no need to split their developing divisions into two. There would be so many games to play on either. But that would beg the question, how big the handheld would end up being and how much powerful would the home system be if it's smaller version runs the very same game?

I like the way he bows to the viewers. It says much about Nintendo.

Wii U will no doubt outsell nextbox and ps4. Those systems will be pricey as well as their games. There will be lack of games at least for the first two years due to higher investments and time needed to create ssoftware. As much as I wait for ps4, I fear it'll be another "Vita situation" where system is highly priced and there are lack of games on it due to lack of developers interested in creating them. Wii U in other hand will be affordable system, It'll have huge amount of games by the time 720/ps4 launches... Problem with this system is, of course, it's performance. Wii U is not much of the next gen in terms of power.

Capcom ows us Nintendo fans Resi 5 and 6 firstly... But if something like Revelations came to Wii U as an exclusive game, that would be fantastic. Wii U gamepad most certainly could be perfect controller for a game that has items menus, scanners and map

lets not forget Wario, Donkey Kong, ... Other than those, it should be time for completely new IPs don't you think? Nintendo can't always do just same old stories, which are welcome too. There need to be new ones too. Perhaps a little bit more mature audience based this time.

I agree. They are not gaming devices... At least not hardcore gaming devices, All you get there is frustrating controls and mini games

i like pro controller. "weak" rumble is good idea meaning it'll have longer battery life. I somehow think it could be my favorite controller for most games on Wii U since I hate playing while charging

Starfox adventures 2................. Maybe a new IP? Bit more adult based this time around...

Nintendo made a mistake not adding 32GB to white model. I'm sure it would sell better.

It can't be bad. Controller is gorgeous, analogues sticks are in the same level unlike 360 which is good think, it has triggers too (unlike ps3)... It'll be my main controller for the Wii U since i hate constant charging, if of course the certain game is going to support PRO controller that is...

If some of GC games were HD remakes, then I'd be glad to get them. Like Zelda wind waker, starfox adventures, resident evil zero,1, Luigi's mansion....

Nintendo should have made white unit with 32GB as well. There are many core gamers who would prefer white rather than black, but it lacks storage and that's important I gues. Not that it's a big deal, but still

I'm affraid Wii U is going to be seriously outperformed by next MS and Sony consoles no matter what specs and when Nintendo reveals. It's been known for a long time that Nintendo unlike it's competitors are not in the race of tech specs, their path is different. I know I'll own Wii U as well as PS4, because both platforms will offer completely different experience and owesome exclusives.

Well said, Damo! I have to agree on this one. I own both 3DS XL and Vita. We all know that Vita is way ahead of 3DS in terms of performance, but I still prefer my 3DS. It's the "Nintendo thing" again that makes it more enjoyable to use. Wii U is going to prove it once more, that best graphics are nothing when a gameplay can deliver awesomeness. I just hope Wii U will not be abandoned by 3rd parties when new engines will start being used widely on 720/ps4. It's only thing that worries me

Thank God! I would hate to see another outdated remake game on this gen system. Ocarina of time was looking bad as it was painful to play. Hated starting game from the same point every time even after saving game miles away from that damn tree. I 'd much rather see something new with todays graphics and gameplay...

after Wii U launch, things will improve even more. I just hope Wii U isn't going to get delayed to 2013... It would be beyond painful

I'm Nintendo fan, but I cannot help but own PS3 as well as Nintendo hardware due to being a core gamer. Nintendo delivers unique experience but they are not delivering everything for my needs unfortunately. In the ideal world I would stick with them only and not bother owning other platforms, but such is life..

Star Fox would be greatest ever comeback if it was action-adventure based with R-wing missions too. I personaly loved Star Fox adventures myself. Would want nothing more than it's sequel for Wii U

Let's face it, Nintendo is not expecting Wii U to have life cycle as long as nextbox or ps4. They knew this before they know it now. Just like with every other system previously. We'll probably get to see their next system in another six years again. Who knows? For the moment we should all prepare to enter Wii U era and enjoy it while it lasts.

Lets wait till Wii U start sell first millions, that's when every developer will decide to work on it. Right now I'm happy with titles that have been already announced.Shame Resident evil 6, Dead space 3, Bioshock are not among them. Will have to play them on PS3 instead

i was pissed off a bit. i got my black 3DS 2 weeks before 3DS XL was announced. I had to sell it soon after i heard the news, in order to get as much as I could while those who want 3DS original still haven't heared about new version. Now all I need is to wait for my silver 3DS XL. Wii U is another gadget that is going to strike my wallet too. Can't f..ing wait for either of them !!!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon Nintendo, stop my suffering!!!

Bare in mind that Nintendo is not aiming to have a long life cycle with 3DS. It's a non HD handheld in the era of mobile HD gaming. They know the time is short here. Soon 3DS will be in another "Wii against 360,ps3" situation. Every mobile phone has HD touchscreen these days, every tablet pc too, not to mention Vita. Nintendo is aware of this. I bet they are already making projects of what their next handheld is going to be (my money is on HD-3D combo). 3DS XL is right on time. Another two years and we'll hear about "3DS 2". Wii U is also another case where Nintendo is not expecting to have a long life comparing with 720, PS4. They always aware of fast changing technology, and they always update when time is right and when technology gets cheaper.

True, true and true. HD is already HD. There aren't going to be Avatar looking games for one very big reason - no one is going to throw millions of pounds to make a game. It would take years and years and what are the odds it'll be paying back? What I saw in Assassins 3 demo, ZombiU demo or Batman, was a very pleasant surprise. Those are only launch games, so this means Wii U's only warming up with those graphics. I simply could not be bothered if it does better than that. Im not graphics fanatic. Have I been one, I would get highest end PC instead...

Since I was badly disappointed with the Wii specs and skipped on it, Nintendo's HD console was my biggest dream. Ever since Project Cafe was first rumored to be something I was waiting for all these years, day by day I searched internet for any possible info about it. Finally after I learned about whats coming from Nintendo next, I could not possibly bother with price or color now. Too long and painful were those years so I am not even thinking about what the price is going to be. I'll simply get it. Hope there will variety of bundles to chose from. Black seems to look slightly better

I'm not buying Wii U to play GC or Wii games on it. I need it for Wii U games. My Game Cube is long been retired. Still works perfectly though
