Well, I don't have cable, Hulu Plus, Amazon Video, or Netflix so I guess Nintendo TVii won't change much at all for me.

Now to bring this game to 3DS Virtual Console.

I'm in denial. Miyamoto would never decide this.

No Wii U games?

If you really wanted this and you live in the US you could just travel across the border and buy it, It will play all of the Wii games you own assuming they are US copies.

I am quite impressed with the internet browser. I have to say that it is the Wii U's biggest surprise.

It's so annoying that the update is 5GB. It may be tomorrow before I can actually play the Wii U! No joke, I'm being serious. My download speed is incredibly slow! This is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus GameStop doesn't open until 11:00 AM this sucks.

I probably won't even be able to play the Wii U today with the 5gb update size. It will take 10 hrs on my download speed...

Gamestop opens at 11 AM tomorrow. So much for a midnight launch or early release, but hey in 14 hrs I'll be playing the Wii U!

It's taking much longer to sell out in the UK than in the US. The Wii U sold out in 2 days in the US at GameStop! I was lucky I reserved my on the day of the conference.

@edhe Haven't you realized the Wii U has its own screen? Hint: The Gamepad. The Wii would be on the tv screen and you could follow along for the wii u on the gamepad.

This isn't starting today. I was able to try out the Wii U almost 2 weeks ago!

Miyamoto acts as if there is nothing new they can do in an F-Zero game. If that's true then how can they add new elements to Mario Kart every couple years?

I want to import that Black 3DS XL from Japan. Too bad all my money is going to Wii U!

This movie is great. I can't even count the number of times I watched this over winter break last year!

I hope Project Zero 2: Wii Edition makes it to the US. With revamped graphics on Wii U this would be great!

My guess is that at Christmas time 3DSs will fly off store shelves with the strong lineup of games being released this holiday season. That is unless people would rather spend their money on Wii U.

In my opinion I would give this game a 7. It's not the greatest game, but it is a nice way to make the time go by on a long car ride or to just relax and solve some puzzles.

@Retro_on_theGo That's not true with the points system you have to pay the tax up front and with the cash cards you don't. The tax is applied when you download a game based on where you live. This is why a ton of people who download games on their 3DS's "live" in New Hampshire.

If Nintendo goes mobile, they might as well shoot themselves in the foot.

These demos are much different than the past Layton games. Perhaps this is a turn in gameplay structure? Does anyone know if there still are puzzles structured in the same way as previous games?

I really wish I could import a white 3DS LL from Japan, but alas my money is going towards the deluxe Wii U. You can't have it all.

Nintendo could have sold so many more 3DS systems if a main Pokemon game was on it. Sure the installed base for 3DS isn't as big, but Pokemon would make it bigger. It was a huge missed opportunity that could have greatly expanded 3DS's installed base. I'm hoping for Ruby and Sapphire remakes in 2013 on the 3DS. Please make it happen!

I think this game looks cool, but that's because it's basically Pokemon, which it's ripping off from. If I had an idevice I'd buy it.

Europeans are accustomed to paying more for their game hardware. I expect Wii U to be $300 when it launches on November 11th/18th in the US.

Hopefully the next announced Professor Layton game will be localized quicker than this one was. I am super excited to play this!

I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Many others including myself have thought this for a while. I guess we'll know for sure on September 13th.
