@geordie Same thing. I enjoy them for a while but the plots are so wafer thin that once the novelty of the puzzle elements wear off I find no reason to continue. Great production though and fun for a while!
@rex_rex I played Dead Cells a fair amount and enjoyed it up to a point. I loved the style, fluidity etc; it was well put together. What started to grate on me was the overall structure. Levels felt uninspiring since they are made of tiles; there is no sense of a real environment. And as I got the more powerful items as a reward for plugging away the sense of grind over skill/exploration just left me cold eventually. I'd love a Dead Cells game in term of visceral gameplay but paired with a traditional map that rewards skill and curiosity to navigate. I know people love starting over, and I did for a while, but then I hit a massive wall of boredom!
This looks good. 10 is a massive score. However, I have a bit of an issue with rogue-likes in that (stop me if I'm wrong) you get more powerful the more you play so that, eventually, the game just gets easier due to the power of the character as opposed to just skill. Is this an accurate appraisal?
@Rika_Yoshitake It doesn't much sense to suggest that if our reviewer doesn't feel that Ayesha is the strongest protagonist, then 'these reviews can't be taken seriously'. How do you get from seeing a reviewer expressing a mild opinion about character to concluding that the reviews can't be take seriously? Isn't that a bit of an overreaction?
@PJOReilly Indeed. I agree. People tend to get annoyed if a review doesn't back their opinions up. Not sure why that is. Probably something to do with vulnerable narcissism.
@DTfeartheBEARD Yep - it just seems crazy to me that this is not included. But its the same for loads of games. I'm sitting in the living room with my son, we both have Switches with Doom, the wife's watching TV. But we cannot play with a screen each...It's really really odd.
I bought this. It is an OK story, but not a great story. It has a lot of atmosphere but that is short-lived. One thing to beware of is tat there is literally NO GAMEPLAY. You move from room to room, interacting with a few objects in very rudimentary fashion. There's nothing for you to actually do, solve, avoid... play. Visually nice and intriguing in the very short-term.

Re: Mini Review: Mayhem Brawler - A Surprisingly Accomplished Beat 'Em Up
"Mayhem Brawler is way, way better than it has any right to be." I can't stand this phrase - for the dev. it's patronising in the extreme.
Re: Evil Dead: The Game Has Been Delayed Until Next Year
Last minute adding single-player option is an alarm bell for poor organisation and lack of clear vision. Hopefully not though!

Re: Heaven Dust Brings Resident Evil-Inspired Zombie Horror To Switch This Month
Hmmm. Doesn't look great. Dodgy animation and the visual flare is lacking. Perhaps it will play well.
Re: Review: Doom - Blasting Hellspawned Demons Like It's 1993, All Over Again
Does anyone know if there's a way to play this on 2 Switches?

@DTfeartheBEARD Thanks for taking the time to do that - really helpful!

But what about multi-screen multiplayer?
Re: Classic DOOM And DOOM II Ports To Receive Performance Improvements In Future Patch
I wish they'd add multiplayer on multiple Switches. I want to play Doom against my friends, but not on split screen!
