@HeadPirate It was a legitimate question. If all you're saying is that many games promote Christian values without supporting Christianity per se, then I suppose you have a point. To the extent that religion gives insight into moral values, many games do reflect Christianity. Perhaps saying games "reflect Christian values" would be clearer than saying they "show Christianity in a positive light." After all, it obviously wasn't the evil focus of the game that made me think of it as a Christian allegory but rather, as @Not_Soos put it, the concept that the game "overtly evokes biblical imagery by using the lamb as a symbol and parodying quotes from scripture." But I get what you're saying better now, that many games promote Christian values, if not the religions directly. It'd be nice if the games promoting Christian values were the ones alluding to quotes from Scripture and similar allegorical references, but beyond that point, I think we're in agreement.

@HeadPirate Don't most games ignore Christianity entirely? It doesn't seem accurate to claim most games portray "Christianity and faith based originations [as] a force for almost universal good." On the contrary, few games touch on Christianity, and among the few that do address religion are satires like The Binding of Isaac and Cult of the Lamb. Are you saying there are many more games that address Christianity positively (rather than ignoring it) than games portraying Christianity negatively?

Maybe Sakurai could just start over with the same list of screenshots, beginning with his first ever and going all to way to whichever the last one in August will be.

@NinChocolate No one's said it yet, so the dad joker in me must add that the ditching of game character voices due to the influence of "star power" couldn't be overcome even with a Power Star, apparently.

Not the flashiest of examples, but the closest I get to owning a rare game is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the GameCube. The game's price seems to be growing since there weren't many releases outside Japan.

I'm liking how we can get physical items through our Platinum Points. Might just have to pick this one up!

I'm entering my first Smash tournament in a while. A celebration of video games to kick off the 100-year anniversary of the father of video games. Makes sense!

I literally stopped reading after Ultimate was thrown in the bin. Later, lol!

I got my girlfriend some 3DS themes and plan to get her and me the first two Trine games on the Wii U eShop. Also, after I finish the first Ace Attorney trilogy (currently on the third one, Trials and Tribulations), I'm going to need to get the next three as well. Let's make 2022 the year of the 3DS and Wii U!

@blindsquarel For me, I'm happy to see the 3DS and Wii U return to the spotlight. Let the fans enjoy our final year with the systems' eShop features. We'll mourn now and can move on in 2023, lol.

I played through the first two games from the original trilogy and am currently on Trials and Tribulations. I definitely will get the next three games soon--even if they weren't about to be banished to the mobile-only realm (or non-3D DS, in the case of Apollo Justice).

@ThomasWhitehead If only I could tag you after reading about your incomplete play through Fates. If you see this: You need to finish Fates! Revelations and the DLC contain some pretty big plot twists!

I was surprised that Kid Icarus: Uprising didn't make the list, as it's a game I might be interested in. I assume it has a physical release, then? Does it have DLC?

@westman98 Yeah, as a former PlayStation-first guy, I know I'd be nervous if I worked at Sony. Will PlayStation be losing CoD, for example? Fortunately, Nintendo's selling points are safe.

@HammerGalladeBro I agree about Pac-Man versus! We actually just got it this Christmas, and it's great!

I didn't play Skyward Sword until the Wii U, as I was one of the weird people who didn't get a Wii. The good news, however, is after I learned the greatness of Nintendo, I got to really enjoy Skyward Sword. You can definitely jot my name down in the "pro-Skyward Sword" side of the debate!

@BlackenedHalo Even though you haven't been able to use credit cards in Europe for years, are you still able to use the 3DS eShop via gift cards, hopefully?
