This sounds like a good update. Right now, it's a bit annoying that I can't even do "training" in gyms without getting destroyed by high-level Pokémon.
Unfortunately I will probably be waiting until Christmas to get PM Color Splash. It looks like a fun game, despite its repetitive combat and other flaws.
Paper Mario: Color Splash is really the only Wii U game I'm looking forward to. There aren't very many more games coming, but I have really enjoyed some of them like Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, and others.
It seems like Nintendo keeps accidentally releasing things early. First, the digital version of Color Splash came out two weeks early. Now, the final episode of Rescue V is out early.
This game looks awesome. I'll definitely be getting it, especially since it's one of the last games on Wii U. However, it is kind of weird that they got rid of the leveling system and other RPG elements but kept turn-based enemy encounters.
This is a mobile app. It's not supposed to be as good as console games, which is why the price will be much lower than a regular game. But that doesn't mean gamers can't enjoy it. I think it looks fun, and I hope it comes to Android devices soon!
Merging handheld and console gaming is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure about it. I do like the idea of having two detachable controllers, though. It's likely that I will buy an NX, mostly for the games (hoping for Super Mario Galaxy 3!) rather than console design.
It would've been more successful if the first games took better advantage of the Gamepad. NSMBU was released at launch and it didn't show the true capabilities of having a second smaller screen. Being able to touch the screen and make platforms isn't enough, especially since it's more fun to play as an actual character. It would have been better to start with a game like Mario Party 10 where it's just as fun for the player with the GamePad.
I don't think Nintendo will make the same mistake again. They'll be careful to show the power of the NX from the beginning.

Re: Fresh Retail Source Reportedly Reinforces and Outlines New Nintendo NX Rumours
I'm not sure if I'm going to get the NX, but it's good that the price is only $300.
I'm ready to see what the console actually is! You've waited long enough, Nintendo!

Re: New Rewards Are Now Available On My Nintendo
I agree that My Nintendo was made for the NX, but why can't it also support physical Wii U and 3DS games? Also, why are there no physical rewards?

Re: Video: Eurogamer's NX Rumours and What They Mean for the Next-Gen System
It's hard to believe that a small portable console could be that powerful, but I guess it's possible.
As others have said, all the different rumors are becoming tedious. I'm ready to see the NX!
