I never bought a second nunchuck due to the expense, so I can't see myself getting a second "New Controller" (that name is a placeholder right?) without serious incentives. Does the WiiU have gamecube controller slots I wonder? Or will it not be that far backward compatible?

I'm way more excited about Luigi's Mansion 2 than I thought I would be. I got the original for £7.49 (later the equivalent of 1000 wii points) back in the days of the 'cube in a bargain bin somewhere. Not exactly challenging, but one helluva fun game.

While I hoped to see Monster Hunter and a new metroid, I can't exactly say I'm dissatisfied.

Wow, a lot of 3DS launch titles are getting atrocious scores...

Why wouldn't they include characters like Ada and Wesker, especially if one-game characters like Krauser are included...? I'm pretty sure they'll both be unlockables. Maybe he means weapons like the PRL from Resi 4, although that'd make the game somewhat too easy....

Master Quest is great, though I never could get past the Forest Temple on it. I have a friend who put hours and hours into it, and they maintain that the MQ Spirit Temple is impossible. It's not enemies that are the problem (although I believe that there is an Iron Knuckle at the entrance to the Fire Temple!), just the puzzles are so damn different!

I never was a fan of splinter cell...

The thing I'm liking best is the fact that play coins are only making the game easier, not strictly necessary for completion

If you ask me, it looks like third parties will be taking the spotlight for a while, which is good - personally I'm very excited by a lot of capcom's input. Maybe that's 'cos I'm in no big rush to replay OoT, having thoroughly beaten it seven or eight times though. Personally, the absence of paper mario will be what makes me sad...

This and steel diver still look like tech demos to me...I wouldn't mind if one came bundled with the 3DS (any indications if this is happening with anything?), but as standalone games they seem a bit like they might lack content. Lets face it, Wuhu Island isn't that big......

So Play Coins /are/ going to be required by some games to get everything? You better earn them at a decent rate! I don't want to have to walk 20 miles to get one coin...
