So, if I understand...
It's a 3rd 7G game, and it will be on the Swich.
... Seriously, you want me to believe that? It'sot going to happen.
Let's me explain :

1) The last 3rd generation game was out in 2008. It has been 8 years. Pokemon exists since 1996. It has been 20 years. 8/20.
It's over, there's likely no 3rd game anymore, people should realise that.

2) There has been rumors about a 3rd generation game for the last 2 gen, and they never happened.
Why should I believe these kind of rumour again?

3) Pokemon Black and White 2 are on DS. But at the time they were out, the 3DS was already out for almost a year.
We have the same case with the Switch, this time.
They showed us that, by their own logic, the next pokemon game will not on Switch, but on 3DS.

4) The switch is very different from the 3DS. They would have to create all the assets from scratch again.
You think they would do that for a third generation game?
The thing about the third generation games are they take what they already made and make it better.
This can't apply for a new console game!

5) Everytime they went on a new system, it was for a new gen. Why should this be different, this time?

No, really, I don't understand people think it's true.
It doesn't make any sense...

Why does people think there will always be a 3rd pokemon game?

It has been 8 years since the last "3rd game", and pokemon have existed for 20 years!
Just accept it, it's done!

That and the fact that the last 2 gen had rumored 3rd games that never happened, there's no reason I should trust this rumor.

I'm betting that next week, it will be about the team aqua!
Maybe with the girl protagonist in this one?

What is even the point of having higher fps?

I don't care that my game is smooth if it isn't enjoyable to play.
Hell, I don't even care about the graphics, they don't have to be super beautiful if the game is, once again, enjoyable!

I don't want any of theses things. I just want good games. That's all.

There's so much change that could benefit the pokemon franchise...

-Hard mode.
Remember in the heartgold/soulsiver game the trainers with evolution of evoli that had EV ?
The battles were really difficult. I want to see that more often.
An hard mode with EV for the other trainers!

-Gym leaders having more than 6 pokemons to chose from.
Depending on your team, the pokemons sent are different.

-A story!
What about a story where the Elite 4 is corrupted, and when you defeat them after some bad tricks, they don't let you become the pokemaster, and you have to cooperate with the "bad team" to change the system?

-The bad team cheating!
Nothing too difficult to overcome, but you can really say that they are the bad guys.

-A battle you have to lose.
Why not? Could be great for a great story.
And if you win, there's some special reward for you.

-Coop multiplayer.
It could be really good!

-No more IV.
No one likes them.

-A battle frontier.
Please please please.
