@kyuubikid213 Yeah, you're right, buying a console does come with risks. I was thinking more of the gamers who felt a little cheated because of the relative low game quantity, as well as a lack of specific games, like a console-exclusive main Zelda game for example. To be honest, I think it's unlikely that Nintendo would do another type of program similar to the Ambassador Program, and it absolutely made more sense for the 3DS's situation. I do think it would be neat if Nintendo gave out some free eShop credit or My Nintendo points or something to Wii U owners though.
I'm fine with a March release, it is indeed far more important for Nintendo to have games to play both at launch and continuing afterward. Personally, I want Nintendo to make games that simply look super awesome to play to the average consumer. Something like a new 3D Mario that's not like 3D World, for example. I'm not saying 3D World isn't fun, but compared to what Mario 64 was when it came out, it doesn't seem as "cool." Mario 64 introduced so many awesome abilities for Mario, like throwing Bowser all the way across the dang arena! But 3D World was more slow-paced and limited; the final boss wasn't even a fight! Instead, Bowser just sat on a giant POW block like an idiot practically asking for Mario to knock him off. Mario is my favorite series, so I want an awesome new Mario game to play on the NX!
I'm really excited for Kirby Planet Robobot and Pokemon Sun and Moon. Also, if that one leak from awhile ago is accurate, we'll be getting something codenamed "N-Stars." I wonder if this means Nintendo Stars, if so then it could maybe be a cool mashup of some kind, like Smash Bros.!
I am super excited for this game! I hope it has a decent length and difficulty, there's too much opportunity to be had with this game for it to be a short one. I'm especially looking forward to using Kirby's Smash Bros. ability!
I wonder if Nintendo will give Wii U owners a discount for the NX, or something similar to the 3DS Ambassador Program. That would be a good way to please some fans at least.
Does anybody remember a patent Nintendo filed a couple of years ago, about swappable physical buttons? It showed how a device could have interchangeable joysticks and d-pads for different button configurations on one device. It seemed like a pretty cool idea to me, as long as somebody didn't lose the pieces lol.
I really think this would be a surprise move by Nintendo if they incorporated it into the NX somehow, and I think it would be both innovative and genuinely appealing.

Re: Feature: Five Franchises That Deserve A Fresh Chance on the Nintendo NX
@MarcelRguez I totally agree. The first Wario Land game in particular is so fun and memorable! I would love to see the series brought back.
