Why would anyone buy Dead Space Extraction when they have a PS3 or Xbox360 and can enjoy the original game which isn't on rails and is a proper adventure? And why would Wii only platform owners want to buy a spin-off from game that made it's mark on Xbox 360 ans PS3? I wonder if EA thought about this before making Dead Space Extraction...
Consumers don't trust EA. That's bottom line. EA have spent too many years ripping off gamers with there yearly updates of all their sports franchises with minimal improvements.
I saw 'This Is It' last night, was really interesting, it's such a shame he died. Anyway, I don't really have fond memories of the game, it's another typical AVGN kind of 'classic'.
I downloaded the original nes Castlevania in preperation for the big Rebirth. But I'm stuck on Frakenstein and Igor on stage 4, I wonder if I will fare any better on Konami's update...
I'm excited. Nearly got the NES classic for free but changed my mind at the last second. Now I can wait for this one. Very good idea Nintendo, more please!
How did this one slip under everyone's radar? Seeing as Mini Ninjas is a cross platform release, is there any reason to think that the Wii version is the one to get? How does it stack up against it's HD siblings?
Great review Prosody, I'm glad NintendoLife gives a game like this two thumbs up, cos to my mind it's games like this that the Wii is all about. I can't wait to play it multiplayer, I know everyones gonna love it.
Also don't know why a 'senior' detracts from the review by bringing up the ign review. How is that relevant? Loads of other respected reviewers supported the game like Prosody has, like Eurogamer for example gave it an 8/10 and they're really tough on Wii games.
Wow! J.Lowther is a real stand-up guy, what a fascinating insight into how the game was tested. To be honest I thought Nintendo would have blocked the release of the game if it was so bad.
I don't know why but when I saw that heading I thought of Mario Galaxy 2 and Wii Zelda, not New Super Mario Bros. and DS Zelda. I think I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself.
I'm suprised no US peeps are happy with You Me And The Cubes. I just checked out the review for the Japan release ( translated as you me and the shapes) on Youtube and it looks fun.
I used to have Sonic Mega Collection for Gameube but didn't like the controls with the Gamecube controller. I much prefer the classic controller. Thanks for the suggestion though.
If only Sega would bring a Mega collection, including Sonic and Golden Axe and so on, to Wii with classic controller support I would be very happy indeed!
I agree with you too Betamangam7 and support your cause. I've downloaded a few megadrive games and been disappointed with them, including Sonic. I probably would've bought more sonics but on the VC they clearly aren't the same as I fondly remember (it's the music as much as anything else), as the video shows. On the other hand, what NintendoLife can do about it I really don't know.
Golden Axe is cool. But a bit pricey for a 20 year old game.
Texas hold'em is very popular in Euope too, but it's much more fun when you are playing for real money (even if it's small amounts). It's a very popular social activity for guys as an alternative to going to the pub.
I don't think the comments sectioned should be used for bashing the reviewer. Especially when it's a good review like in this case. It tells you what you need to know and approached it from neutral point of view. That's much more interesting to your average reader than getting a huge poker fan to do the review.
I loved the heading to the review, it cracked me up. And thanks for warning me off the game. To be honest I don't see the point in poker games on Wii. You can find loads of good free ones on the Internet if you are so inclined.
Great game, fantastic value for money. Ninty are really doing a good job on Wii especially with Metroid Prime trilogy coming out. There gonna rule the roost for a long time to come. Yay.
A big Randy Savage 'Oh yeah'. I love pilotwings, especially the snes version, I'll probably stay up thursday night and instadownload it. How lame am I? Ha ha
Don't be afraid to check this compilation out. Even the games you maybe haven't heard of are fun and highly playable. I can't imagine how much a comiplation like this would cost to set up in your own home 10 years ago. It's mind blowing how things change

Re: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord
Maybe I'm just awesome at this game, but I don't need any DLC
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
Great Review Corbie!
If anyone wants a decent, in depth video review then check this one out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN9oOiKyDro
I wouldn't bother with the IGN one, it's uselss. There's something I don't like the dude who reviews it, the old IGN reviewer was much better.
Re: Review: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex (Wii)
I think the reviewer did a great job, he reviewed the game for what it is without any pre-concieved ideas. I think that's to be commended.
I mean, just imagine for a second that this was just a Wii game that hit the shelves without any history, what the reaction be? 10/10?

Re: Podcast: Episode 9 - Muramasa, Mario and More!
Wow! Kim Wilde is on it. Does she get her baps out for the lads?
Edit: Please don't ban me!
Re: Wii Fit Plus
To be honest I'm finding Wii Fit more fun than Wii Sports Resort.
Re: First Impressions: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Wow! Sounds awesome.
Re: Nintendo Download: Zombies, LIT, Ghost Mansion Party, Little Red Riding Hood and Card Classics (EU)
Are there any differences for Zombies? I think I read somewhere the pal version was censored in some way, is that true of this release?
Re: Review: Ghost Mansion Party (WiiWare)
Why wasn't Chicken given this game to review? It seems to be right up his street.
Re: First Impressions: Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth

Re: Feast Your Eyes On This Castlevania: ReBirth Footage
Looks great! But I hope they have a higher difficulty setting for the sake of Drake.

So is it better than Final Fight or not? How does it compare with Streets of Rage?

Capcom vs. Thunderbirds.
Hoooooooo!
Re: Nintendo Download: Cubes, Ninjas, Tennis, Strategy Games and Cameras (US)
Have you guys read the ign review of You me and cubes?

Re: Wii Fit Plus Release Date Announced
Do we have a European date yet? The chicken flying and Mario style platforming look fun.
Re: Okami to Hit DS in 2010!
Sorry if this is a stupid question but what genre are you refering to in the article?

Re: Deca Sports 2 (Wii) - Teaser Trailer 3
I always wanted to know exactly what shovelware meant... Ahh now I see.
Re: Rage of the Gladiator (WiiWare) - Horlan Trailer
This game looks horrible.
Re: Wii Sports Resort Sales Go Through The Roof
Great game, fantastic value for money. Ninty are really doing a good job on Wii especially with Metroid Prime trilogy coming out. There gonna rule the roost for a long time to come. Yay.
