Re: Mario Strikers: Battle League Will Be Supported With Free Post-Launch Updates

This is alright I guess. It doesn't bother me nearly as much as it did with animal Crossing, but I start to wonder why there's been NO new Mario Party content?? I thought that Nintendo had realized how dumb they were for not putting out any dlc for super Mario party but apparently not. Just leaving money sitting on the table. Although, I'm not sure I can say I would love any new content based on how lacklustre and poorly made the Mario Kart dlc has been.

Re: Talking Point: Not A Mario Kart Tour Fan? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Gives You The Best Of Both Worlds

I never asked for tour content ported over; I wanted just retro tracks reimagined to the standard of 8's initial DLCs.

If tour tracks were a part of the equation (which I didn't want because mobile games like that are a cancer that prey on the vulnerable), I didn't want those tracks to come over verbatim. I didn't want to stare at a Jaggy Arc de Triomphe that I can count the points on. I didn't want to stare at a bunch of reused assets from the base game. I didn't want to wonder why they can't even recycle the bushes from tokyo for paris. I didn't want to wonder why they didn't put antigravity on a single one of the opening tracks in a game where the logo is made to reference its antigravity mechanic. My personal uproar was more of the waste of development energy. If they had spent the resources and time on 8DX tracks that they had spent on a predatory scam (is it mario kart if you can't play as mario for free at launch??), we could have had like 2-4 new cups (at minimum) with basegame quality at this point; and I would have been fine with that. I would have bought that. Instead they pump out swill on a mobile game to exploit the masses, and now huck that onto switch to make even more dough off of people who say "it's good enough". The new courses aren't even that bad in the grand scheme of things; they just don't come close to feeling like mario kart 8. I paid 32$ CAD to play mario kart 8 courses; not a bunch of mediocre-to-bad courses ripped from a game designed to utilize human psychology to encourage people to buy diddy kong for 40$.

This new content only exists to justify the mistake of an Expansion Pack. Remember when you could buy 7 year old games for 10$ on Wii? Now you don't have access to 20 year old games in ANY form. But hey, if you pay a stupid price, you can rent a bunch of cheap looking and feeling DLC and rent games from before the turn of the millennium that are also partially poorly emulated.

Re: Hogwarts Legacy Is Apparently Coming To Nintendo Switch

How was my comment off topic? I was directly engaging with the storyline of the game (suppressing Goblins, who everyone recognizes are jewish coded at this point) and the fact that its kind of yikes to be hyping this game's release on switch when its directly about crushing goblin rebellion. I made no mention of Off Topic Circumstances other than hinting at the fact that the world created by the Author In Question is made in such a way that the only kind of stories people want to tell in it are about how standing up for your rights is bad and you should only work through the official status quo. I did not mention Any Reason One Might Dislike The Author (though I referenced it). You cannot separate the content of the game (and of the broader HP universe) from the things it is built on.
