Well, since I reeeeeeeeeally dragged my feet with Cybersluth, I still have a little over a game and a half to get through, so passing this one over won't really bother me much. No gonna dump on it, just saying there are more appealing games (for me) out there just now.
We've been hearing promises of of a fantastic "new" Sonic game for literally 2 decades, so I don't think they can make things any worse than they already are. That said, it'd be great if they actually delivered for a change, and it does sound like they're aiming for a mor Sonic Adventure style game from the heydays of the Dreamcast era. Fingers crossed it pans out this time.
If you're still jonesing for a Fallout game on Switch as much as I am, Outer Worlds is a decent substitute, but even after last year's big update, the graphics are still a blurred mess (noticeably better in docked mode however). This isn't a critique of the Switch, since there are far more elaborate games games that are older and look MUCH better. Outer Worlds is still fun to play.
I've been playing it a lot since I downloaded it yesterday at noon, and it's true to the original, with lots of different camera views to choose from. The controls have a lot of options but they're all pretty tight, and the 3rd and 1st person camera views are a lot of fun too! The only thing from the original that's actually missing is the General Lee skin for one of the starting cars (Police Car id default skin), but, given how things have been going in the US over the past 6 months, I can certainly understand why they left it out. Really fun racing game, and I've only scratched the surface.
YES!! THE LEGEND LIVES ON!!! Now I only have to wait until mid next year (assuming they don't drag their feet too much on a western release). Woo-Hoo!!
@SwitchVogel I'm right there with you; they dumbed down the mechanics and games play so much it NOT MH anymore. If they continue the franchise in this way, they need to really step things up for the next console release.
@FargusPelagius Don't think it'll be a Stories/Riders port (even though a LOT of Switch games are), but I only think that because they already did port it to Mobile devices. <claps hands together in prayer> PLEASE let this be a good, real MH, and step back from the trainwreck that is World..
MAss Effect was one of the reasons I still have a (pair of) 360s. The only reason I haven't played them is because I have to sit down in front of a TV for long stretches of time. If this happens, I'll but a physical copy easy!
Was so jazzed when I heard about this - it was one of the few cell phone games I actually enjoyed, and I hope it plays as well on Switch as it did on my old Iphone.
